We want to hear from you! We are working to create a long-term transportation plan to help guide city road projects over the next ten years. This is a great opportunity to tell us what you currently like about Hendersonville roads and what you would like to see improved.

The survey will be open until July 28. Please help us spread the word by sharing this opportunity with friends and neighbors. Printed copies will be available at City Hall front desk for anyone who would like to complete the survey on paper.

Heads up racing fans!! We are excited to share that Mayor Jamie Clary and the City of Hendersonville will honor former Hendersonville resident and two-time Indianapolis 500 winner, Josef Newgarden on Tuesday, July 9 at 10:30 am at Hendersonville Community Church. Residents and race fans are invited to join the special celebration!

"I appreciate when people bring positive, national attention to Hendersonville, Tennessee," said Mayor Jamie Clary. "Josef has been doing that with multiple race wins, two INDYCAR Series championships, and his recent back-to-back Indy 500 victories. He started his career in Hendersonville with electric scooter races against his neighbors and team sports in our parks.”

Prior to the presentation, Mayor Clary & Newgarden will also be reading his new inspirational children’s book, “Josef’s BIG Dream: An INDY 500 Story," to students participating in the S’MORE reading camp. The book highlights Newgarden’s journey from his childhood in Hendersonville to realizing his dream of winning the Indianapolis 500 and aims to inspire children to dream big and persevere through challenges. The book, written by Newgarden, his wife Ashley and Andy Amendola, is available for pre-sale now at RedRacerBooks.com

“I am looking forward to coming back to Hendersonville, where my racing dreams really started as a child,” said Newgarden. “Getting the opportunity to share the book and its message to work hard and never give up with these kids in my hometown, it’s a little surreal, to be honest, but I’m honored to have the opportunity to pay it forward when I can. I appreciate Mayor Clary and the folks of Hendersonville for having us out and look forward to seeing everyone.”

He plans to donate a copy of his book to each elementary school in Hendersonville once the book is released later this summer.

In addition to his successes in INDYCAR racing, recently The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame announced Newgarden will be honored as the 2024 Pro Athlete of the Year at their annual banquet later in June.

🚨🍕 Hey Jolly Ollie’s Fam! 🍕🚨

We’ve got a funny (but slightly annoying) update for you. For some mysterious reason, Google thinks we’ve magically reopened our doors, even though we’re still in the midst of our temporary closure. 🤔 We’ve tried telling Google we’re not quite ready yet, but they must be really busy reviewing our changes because it’s taking longer than expected. Maybe they’re too busy eating pizza! 🍕😅

We’re working hard to get everything perfect for you, and we’re aiming to be open in the 2nd or 3rd week of July. Stay tuned for updates on our soft and grand openings – we promise it’ll be worth the wait!

Thanks for your patience and understanding. We can’t wait to serve you soon! 🍻🎉
