What started as replacing the new suspension turned into discovering rusted frame rails, collapsed crush tubes, damaged toe boards, and a lower core support that had seen better days is now a solid foundation ready for years of cruising.

✅ Rebuilt frame rails
✅ Replaced rusted crush tubes
✅ Repaired the toe board
✅ Removed the destroyed lower core support and fabricated a stronger replacement
✅ Added fresh mounting points for the new A/C condenser
✅ Installed the new front suspension

With the fabrication complete, this Fox Body is headed to paint and one step closer to getting it's new engine and being back on the road where it belongs.

The front suspension upgrade on this Fox Body starts with a solid foundation. Years of , rust and missing mounts, Jeff is doing what Infinite Fab Works does best cutting out the bad and fabricating new frame tabs and mounting points in-house to ensure everything is stable and strong from the start. The transformation is almost complete. 🔥

This OBS Chevy is getting the full treatment with the fab and install of the C-Notch and parallel 4-link coilover suspension system and we can finally show off a preview of the stance.

Even sitting on dollies, you can already get a glimpse of the aggressive low ride height and clean profile this setup delivers. The fabrication is nearly wrapped up, and we can't wait to get this one back on the ground with the bed.

Anyone can cut a piece of sheet metal and call it done. The difference between fabrication and craftsmanship is what happens after the cut.

Take the grille surround on this build. The easy route would have been to leave a hard, flat edge around the radiator opening and move on. Instead, Corey spent the extra time shaping and rolling a subtle radius into the opening by hand. It's the kind of detail most people won't immediately notice, but it's exactly the kind of detail that makes a custom build feel intentional instead of assembled.

Metal shaping is a dying art. Long before CAD files, CNC machines, and bolt-on catalogs, fabricators used hammers, dollies, clamps, shrinkers, stretchers, and determination to transform flat sheet metal into functional works of art. Every curve, body line, and transition had to be created by hand, refined by eye, and perfected through experience.

At Infinite Fab Works, that tradition is still alive.
