What started as replacing the new suspension turned into discovering rusted frame rails, collapsed crush tubes, damaged toe boards, and a lower core support that had seen better days is now a solid foundation ready for years of cruising.
✅ Rebuilt frame rails
✅ Replaced rusted crush tubes
✅ Repaired the toe board
✅ Removed the destroyed lower core support and fabricated a stronger replacement
✅ Added fresh mounting points for the new A/C condenser
✅ Installed the new front suspension
With the fabrication complete, this Fox Body is headed to paint and one step closer to getting it's new engine and being back on the road where it belongs.
At Infinite Fab Works, we don't believe in letting projects collect dust for months on end. These cars were built to be driven, and our goal is to deliver exceptional craftsmanship on a reasonable timeline so you can knock out your punch list and get back to enjoying your ride sooner.
This project is also a great example of why we welcome customer-supplied parts. You shouldn't be penalized for sourcing your own components. Sometimes projects uncover hidden problems, or you simply reach the limit of your tools, time, or experience. That's where we come in.
Structural rust repair isn't something to gamble on. When critical components like frame rails and supports need attention, trust a shop that will make sure your car leaves safer and stronger than when it arrived.
