Buying a car is exciting, but it can also be stressful. It's important to know the signs of scams.
Here I mentioned some more scams you should be aware of but before reading this go through the previous post for scam #1.
scam #2
-Bait & Switch Scams: This scam involves a dealer posting an advertisement for one car, but when you arrive at the dealership, they try to sell you something else. They might say that the original car has been sold or that it's been priced incorrectly.
scam #3
-Fake Warranties: A fake warranty is one that provides less coverage than what you were led to believe, or no coverage at all. You should always check with your state's department of motor vehicles before buying a new vehicle warranty; it's likely that any warranty that is not purchased directly from an authorized dealer will be fake.
scam #4
-"Guaranteed" Low Interest Rates: If someone tells you they can get you a low interest rate on a loan or lease without explaining how they'll do it, don't believe them! Interest rates are determined by several factors including your credit score and income level as well as the type of vehicle being financed, so there are no "guaranteed" rates for anyone except those.
