Well, I’m glad that’s finally behind me! It’s been a stressful couple of days moving things around, getting the hammer set up in the new shop, and finally getting the other set of arms mounted on the pedestal.

This old man has been feeling it! Walking back and forth between shops, shaping parts, checking the fit, and doing it all over again has been taking its toll. I swear I’ve walked a million miles! Hammer, hammer, hammer… back to check it, then back to the hammer again. At one point, all I could think was, f**k that s**t! 😂

But finally, everything is where it needs to be, right in front of me and ready to go. I think my right ankle might finally get a chance to heal, too!

Next week is going to feel like a blessing. Sometimes, getting everything in the right place makes all the difference.

Working on light lines. This is going to be my version of a 2 inch chopped 1939 Lincoln. Just about finished with the reversed area. Now I’m going to be following my lines down towards the trunk and up towards the roof. Than I will Buck this up and repeat the other side. Rock ‘n’ roll.

Huge thanks to my friends at for allowing me to use their incredible paint facility to bring this beauty to life. This project truly got me back in my groove—I’ve missed painting something fierce. With a little luck, I’ll have my new booth installed this spring and keep pushing out some seriously killer paint. It feels great to be back at it.

I also want to thank my crew and the close friends who helped me every step of the way on this car—especially my good friend Keith Adams. And .chapman, thank you as well!

Big appreciation to for letting me use his guns. They’re officially next on my list—my dealership 4000s are definitely feeling obsolete compared to the 5500s.

Thank you for offering such a beautiful color in your lineup. From the ground up, this build features KD3002 all the way through to the sealer. I mixed a 50/50 cocktail of 3002 and 3005 to create the blue sealer, and the combination worked flawlessly. I couldn’t be happier with the final results. And definitely special things to. for the killer video editing.

Now… onto buffing. 💪✨

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Watching this paint job come to life has been incredibly rewarding, and I couldn’t wait to share a glimpse of the process.

Stepping back into painting after more than a decade away feels completely natural—like riding a bicycle. The passion never fades.
