Well, it's been a while since I posted. Here's a little rundown on the builds I've been working on. I have Shelly's Saleen about 95% complete. I'll be installing the Kooks headers in a couple of days and finishing this one up. I got Ryan's 2JZ short block built, and now I just need to install the head and finish dressing it up. I dropped in Greg's SP347ci and started installing all the go fast mods. I'll have some more updates soon, starting with Shelly's Saleen.

Shelly Wildt's 5.3 modular engine is built, just waiting on a few supporting mods to show up before we can drop it in. Her Saleen Mustang will be getting all the good supporting mods for this engine, like a set of American Racing 1 7/8 stainless long tube headers, McLeod dual disk clutch and flywheel, and a Behind Bars Racecars aluminum fuel tank with a MagnaFuel Pro Tuner 525 in tank fuel pump to feed this beast, just to name a few. Here's a little peek of Shelly Wildt's 1997 Saleen Mustang. This one is getting a Ford Performance Modular Boss Block, bored and stroked to a 5.3. It will be getting all the good stuff to handle and make a lot of power, like a set of Trickflow 195cc CNC ported race heads, MLS head gaskets, billet timing chain sprockets, and reluctor wheel. All ARP fasteners, including head and main studs. A set of custom grind blower cams from MHS. Shelby Mike Racing billet chain guides. Ford Performance timing chains and tensioners. GT500 lifters and followers. Melling billet oil pump with a Cobra oil pump pickup tube. Accufab billet rear engine plate. Moroso 7 quart oil pan and windage tray. This modular 5.3 will be boosted using a Kenne Bell Mammoth 2.8 liquid cooled supercharger. I'll have more updates as this build continues.

I've been getting a lot of people asking why I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would give an update. The reason I haven't been posting is that I am not taking on any more work because of all the big builds I have to complete. I have been working on and finishing them one at a time. I should be finishing the last one up early to mid spring. Thank you to all my customers for being so patient and supportive.

I will be posting some pictures on the build that I am working on tomorrow. It's a sweet one!

Starting next year Savage Performance will transition to Savage Auto Sales, so be on the lookout for big changes coming.

The 2018 Mustang in the photos will be for sale soon, so stay tuned.

Dave's 1978 Ford F100 is coming along nicely. This one is getting our level one SP408ci SBF backed by a C6 transmission and a Boss Hog 3200 stall converter. We'll be finishing this one up with a Cold Case radiator, dual fans, and a Quick Fuel Brawler carburetor.

We are finishing up a few more mods on Greg's Foxbody before dropping in one of our SP347ci SBF's. We installed some UPR upper and lower control arms with UPR adjustable rear spring perches, Viking springs, and Strange adjustable shocks. Installed a UPR battery relocation kit to make room for the Motion Raceworks oil catch can that will be installed next.

My man, Tyler, is getting all the wiring finished up on Dave's 1978 Ford F100 before we drop in our SP408ci SBF stroker....

My man, Tyler, is getting all the wiring finished up on Dave's 1978 Ford F100 before we drop in our SP408ci SBF stroker. He installed a Quadboss Bus Bar, a fuse block, and a high amp circuit breaker to handle the extra electronics being added. He also installed some gauges, shifter, and tail lights and wired up the JVC stereo. We are just waiting on the stall converter, and then we will be installing the engine.

We finished this one up last week. Ron's 1968 Mustang GT was in for a few goodies. We installed some Edelbrock cylinder heads, front coil springs and shocks, installed a factory wiring harness and switch for the fog lights, replaced the instrument bezel and lenses, and installed a RetroRadio with Bluetooth, along with a few other things. This sweet Stang is ready to ride.
