Busy night last night, got called out, driver said he was about ready to tip over. The lot at the 260/ 277 by Junes Cafe. This is about 4 now weve had to rescue from the concrete culvert and ditch there? Rear axle of the tractor was about 12" off the ground.

Lloyds Wrecker Service - Hiring Experienced Towing Operators
Light Duty - (No CDL)
Medium Duty- (CDL Needed for certain tows)
Heavy Duty- CDL NEEDED

Prefer CDL Applicatns but Non CDL can work for certain positions

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled CDL Towing Operator(s) to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible for safely operating tow trucks and flatbed vehicles to assist customers with vehicle recoveries and transportation. This role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent driving skills, and exceptional customer service abilities. The CDL Towing Operator(s) plays a vital role in ensuring efficient, safe, and professional towing services while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate tow trucks, including flatbeds and other specialized equipment, to recover and transport trucks and various vehicles
Load and unload vehicles securely using appropriate tie-downs and safety procedures
Perform basic automotive and mechanical assessments to determine the best course of action to tow safely and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure optimal performance
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during roadside assistance or recovery operations
Manage conflict situations professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards
Utilize automotive repair knowledge to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on the spot
Safely operate forklifts or other machinery as needed for loading or unloading equipment
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations to ensure safety for team members and the public
Skills

Valid CDL license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving
Strong mechanical knowledge, including automotive diagnostics and repair experience
Proficiency in operating tow trucks, flatbeds, and forklift equipment
Experience with accident recovery and vehicle load securing techniques
Excellent driving skills with the ability to handle large vehicles under various conditions
Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards
Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
Exceptional customer service skills to assist clients courteously during stressful situations
Mechanical experience or mechanic background is highly desirable for troubleshooting issues quickly

You may remember this one from the Labor Day Weekend...

Update: From what Ive been told about this accident, the driver blew out a left front tire while headed west bound on the 260, was able to avoid a head on collision with an oncoming vehicle but not the tree.. fortunately everyone walked out of the accident, the driver had a few fractured ribs and lacerations, he was hospitalized for 2 days and then released.
