I would like to clear up some confusion from the last post. The shop is still OPEN! Michael is still doing repairs. We are practically merging our two businesses together. The main difference is that we are APPOINTMENTS AND DROP OFFS ONLY. With Michael having to still do wrecker calls during the day, we cant risk having a customer waiting with their car on the rack while he goes on a tow. We are also phasing out of buying tires. It’s a bit of a challenge for me to file taxes and paperwork for two businesses while still driving a bus and now trying to keep a baby happy in the mix! I’m just trying to simplify my stress load. Our office number will also remain the same, the only difference there is I will answer “Tates” instead of “431 Auto” I hope that clears up any confusion! If you have ANY questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We greatly appreciate all of our customers!! 334-786-5625 is still the shop number. Our 24HR wrecker service number is 334-379-2468.

As many of you know, we have opened up Tate’s Towing & Recovery and it has since been flourishing. With that being said, we have made the difficult decision to close 431 Auto. We will STILL be offering your regular service and maintenance by appointment and drop off only (334-785-5625). However, we are phasing out of purchasing new tires. He is still more than happy to mount and balance tires. This allows Michael to focus on our towing company but still be able to take care our customers. This will go into effect March 1st, 2025. The shop phone number will remain the same. Please be patient as we make this exciting new transition! Thank you for all of your support throughout these last 8 years!

Michael & Amanda of 431 Auto & Tire want to thank everyone for your continued support with our business. With the excitement and anticipation of the arrival of Baby Tate, 431 Auto & Tire will be taking some much needed time to prepare and adjust to this experience of New Parenthood. We value each and every one of you and hope you will understand the need for us to close starting July 22nd for about 3 weeks. We will proudly continue to serve you once we are home, settled and opened back up.

A very tricky recovery we did yesterday! Thank God everyone was okay! He was sure watching over the driver. We want to give a special shout out to Knights Wrecker Service for coming to our aid in helping get this truck out! Sometimes it takes a team to get the big jobs done!
