I'm being told the reason my 2 step stopped working is because I should have put a 1n4007 Diode in the trans switch wire. I wonder if I put one in it will work or thinking I hurt the ignition box. However, the diagnostic LED light does normal things.

This is a Daytona Sensor CD-1 ignition.
