R-Series three-piece: forged center, separate outer and inner barrels, 50/50 hardware. The barrels get built to the width you need instead of picked off a chart.

That's the McL 6GT, the manual supercar from Monterey. Price and volume came from Nick Collins a few days after the reveal, and neither was in the original announcement.

Six-speed, rear drive, V8, carbon tub. Hydraulic steering, not electric.

The last McLaren road car with a clutch pedal was the F1.

Customers get theirs in 2028.

Christian von Koenigsegg says handing the engine over like this is a first for them.

It's a bespoke 5.0 twin-turbo in the Kimera K39. 1,000 hp, 885 lb-ft, an 8,250 rpm ceiling.

They shrank the turbos against the ones in Koenigsegg's own cars, trading peak power for response and driveability.

1,100 kg. Seven-speed manual. Capristo exhaust.

Pikes Peak is the actual goal.

Nine years ago, this thing had an audience before it had panels.

October 2017. Varis had a Version 3 widebody for the Evo X that hadn't been shown anywhere yet, and they let us debut it at SEMA instead of Tokyo Auto Salon. That almost never happens. The only other time was our Concept One FR-S.

So we opened a thread on EvoXForums and put the whole thing up as it went. Sketches, then the clay. Panels test-fitted raw. Off the shelf vinyl wouldn't get us the red we wanted, so we printed our own. Then the AMS 2.2 crate motor went in, 800hp capable, ETS 6766 hanging off it.

Wheels and brakes came last. Hyperlock 19x11 -35 centerlocks over R35 GT-R calipers converted to Overtake carbon ceramics, and we asked the thread which finish to run. Silver or black.

Five days after that first post it was on a truck to Vegas.

Straight out of Monterey Car Week: Koenigsegg has revealed the CCGT1.

Twin-turbo V8, 1,600 hp on E85, and a gated six-speed if you want it. 800 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.

It's the road-legal tribute to the GT1 car they built in 2007 and never got to race. All 70 are already sold.

Two 911s, one built in California and one in England, both wearing Louis Vuitton.

Saffron coupe runs the 4.0 air-cooled six. The white cabriolet is twin-turbo, with a varnished wood luggage deck behind the seats.

That dash clock is a real mechanical movement out of Vuitton's watch workshop, and it lifts out to sit on a desk.

First co-branded product Vuitton has ever done.

Four figures out of an AMG V8 doesn't happen with a tune.

Brabus mills the crank from solid, opens the engine to 4.5 liters and fits their own turbos. 796 hp there, 204 more from the motor on the rear axle.

62 mph in 2.6.
