❤️ Meet the Heart of Eldon’s: Derek! ❤️

If you’ve been around Eldon’s lately, you may have seen a new face! Derek joined us September 15th and is our FIRST service advisor here at Eldon’s! 🙌 With 10 years in the automotive industry, he’s already proving to be a great addition to the crew!

Let’s get to know Derek a little better! 👇

📍 Hometown: Aurora, NE

🔧 One thing he wants every customer to know: Preventive maintenance is important! Keeping up with your vehicle’s maintenance can save you from bigger headaches down the road.

🏈 Hobbies: Football, camping, and fishing.

🛻 Dream vehicle: A mint 1996 Dodge Ram 1500! It was the first real truck he ever bought.

🎬 Fun fact: His favorite movie of all time is Ocean’s Twelve.

❤️ Meet the Heart of Eldon’s: Jeremiah! ❤️

This week, we’re getting to know Jeremiah a little better! He joined the Eldon’s team in April of this year, bringing 15 years of experience in the automotive industry with him. He’s great at figuring out those tricky vehicle problems and never backs down from a challenge!

When he’s not at the shop, Jeremiah enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife, Jenn, and their sons, Zayne and Timber. ❤️

Here are a few more things you might not know about him:

🔧 Hometown: Okeechobee, FL
🚘 Favorite vehicles to work on: 1999–2006 GM trucks
🏁 Dream vehicle: A brand-new 1987 C-10
🐂 Something you might not know: Jeremiah used to be involved in rodeo and bull riding!
🥤 Go-to drink at work: An Orange Rockstar to start the day and water to get through it!

But what do the guys at Eldon’s appreciate most about having Jeremiah on the team? Here’s what they had to say!

Justin: “He’s ridiculously smart and a wonderful teacher. Great taste in music.”

Nic: “‘Jaylow’ is a very knowledgeable person in the car industry and a very good friend. Known him through the years and at previous employment. He is the biggest teddy bear guy and would give the shirt off his back for anyone.”

Derek: “He’s the kind of guy they don’t make enough of anymore. Genuine, hardworking, loyal, and always willing to help someone in need. He’d give you the shirt off his back and never ask for anything in return. The world needs more people like him.”

Andy: “Jeremiah is a great addition to our shop! He is exceptionally good at diagnosing complex vehicle issues and never shies away from a challenge. If he doesn’t know the answer, he will research and figure it out. He is a very genuine person and has a huge heart.”

We’re glad to have Jeremiah as part of Team Eldon’s ❤️

❤️ The Heart of Eldon’s This Week is Nic! ❤️

Nic has been part of the Eldon’s crew since February 2025 and has 23 years of experience working on vehicles. He has three sons, Kyler, Landon & Michael.

A few things about Nic: His favorite vehicle to work on is a Mustang, his dream car is a ’67 Mustang Fastback, and when he’s not at work, he enjoys working on cars, especially his Evo. He listens to rock music at work, drinks Full Throttle, and is currently restoring a 1955 Chevrolet 210!

Now, if you know Nic, you know he’s not a fan of having his picture taken, so I had to use what I had! 😂

But one thing the guys didn’t have any trouble talking about was Nic’s sense of humor!

Here’s what they had to say about him:

Justin: “Nic is great to work with. Funny things he does, he likes to find the biggest dead bug off every vehicle he works on to put on my toolbox.”

Jeremiah: “I love when Nic taps my shoulder and hides from me, makes me feel like a kid again! Also his always joking demeanor no matter the situation always makes me laugh. My favorite though is watching him try to run and fight the bees in the shop! That guy hates bees!”

Derek: Even though he hasn’t worked with Nic very long, he says Nic has a great sense of humor.

Andy: “Nic is always smiling, no matter what, he always shows up and does his best.”

😂 I think it’s safe to say Nic keeps things interesting around the shop! Whether he’s leaving dead bugs on Justin’s toolbox, messing with Jeremiah, or fighting off the bees, he keeps the guys laughing.
