Today a customer brought us a 2015 Chevy Trucks Silverado throwing codes for B1480 Rundown Protection Circuit, wanting to have the BCM replaced. We suggested to run diagnostics on the vehicle due to circuit codes indicating something more then a BCM error. The technician ended up finding with our ECT3000 that someone previously removed the headliner and when they reinstalled it they pinned down the wiring harness with the visor clip screw, right through the wiring! As funny as it may be, this is exactly why we do not skip over the diagnostics here. Replacing the BCM would not have been a long term resolution to this error and could have cost the customer double in the long run!

A reality that is not to far from us. Extended Reality, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality in the workplace is here, along side AI. In the photo Im using the newest XR Glasses VITURE for programming a BCM for a 2008 Infiniti G37. Linked through my Autel - North America & HP . Im able to pull every window I could possibly need to see. Viewing electrical diagrams in 3D along side schematics and realivant scan tool data all at once. Im very excited to try out the new gadget at the shop.
