Mark your calendars! Saturday Feb. 15 is the first day to make camping reservations for a Friday, May 15, arrival – the State Parks’ Open House Weekend and traditional kick-off to the summer season. Campsites become available at 7 a.m. Central Time on the first day of the 90-day window.

Before you put that camper away for the season, check the caulking. Pay special attention to the front and back seams on the roof where the fiberglass/tin meets the rubber. You can simply caulk over the existing using a self leveling RV caulk that can be ordered online or purchased at any RV store.
Also, inspect around the windows to make sure they are sealed, closed completely and the window weeps (holes on the bottom of the window) are clean so water can escape.
