Another sweet 442 to work on! Customer dropped off this newly painted 68 442 to install new weatherstriping and side glass in preparation for the Oldsmobile Quad States show on the 11/12 in Pewaukee. Pretty sweet car!!

Back on the 442 for a couple of days. Got the front clip removed and taken apart, what a clean original car!! Minor rust repair in lower left fender, the inner braces are near perfect and the core support is very nice as well!! I got the dents hammered out and they're taking shape before blasting.

Boy, it's been a busy start to the summer! I got a good start on the 70 442 project and then got busy with in/out small jobs for the driving season, parts and component restoration, steering wheel restoration and last week I did some touch ups on a nice 68 Buick GS. Repaired a scratch to bare metal on the right front fender and the paint was flaking off the hood scoop which had 5 layers of paint on it!! Both repairs turned out nice, got a great paint match for the blends. I have a couple more small jobs, looking forward to getting back on the 442!!
