September 11, 2001 — a day that changed America forever.

Today, we remember the thousands of innocent men, women, and children who lost their lives.

We remember the firefighters who climbed the stairs.
We remember the police officers who ran toward the danger.
We remember the paramedics, first responders, and countless heroes who put their own lives on the line for others.

We remember the families who were left behind.
We remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity that followed.

We may move forward, but we must never forget where we came from.

Remember the fallen. Honor the heroes. Cherish our freedom.
