About Honest Tom's Motors LLC
We opened in 2017 on Anaconda Rd
I'm sharing the history of the cars we've sold in a recent 60 day time span so each follower can get an idea of what to expect.
And I'll post what we're working on getting ready to sell.
If you continue reading, I'll have a FAQ section too.
Most dealers will laugh you out the dealership if you don't have a minimum of $6,000. Our niche is first time car drivers and folks that just want an older, low mileage vehicle.
We buy almost exclusively from over 100 charities for our inventory. What I learned early on is the cars at the auction in the older category had too many things wrong with them. Auctions are good for newer cars, like 5 years old or newer. Our dealership is good for older cars.

FAQ:
Do we post online? Rarely. Most cars are sold off the lot, by referral. Side note, when I do take the time to take pictures, post all the details, the car usually sells very quickly and people are frustrated they can't make it in time to purchase. So unless a referral customer doesn't come, I rarely post.
Will I take a customer to the auction? No. There is too much risk for the buyer to select a good car.
Do you have time to talk about cars online, chatting back and forth? Unfortunately no. I give priority to those who are in person, and unless I hire a salesperson, there isn't much of my time for online sales. Best experience by appointment, in person.
Are you a charity? No, we are a business.
What should I expect? Cars similar to those listed above at a fair price. Time is limited for all of us, we generally just offer the best price up front. How we price them, they normally sell in 24 hours, and rarely over a week if we do post them in marketplace. So our pricing is very fair.
Do you have any jobs? I am always looking for mechanical help, there's always more work than can get done with current staff.
