Micky Jenks of Capon Valley Logistics stopped by today for a 35,000‑mile service on his 2026 Mack Pioneer — and he couldn’t be happier with his truck. Micky, an owner‑operator, shared that the truck has exceeded his expectations in comfort, performance, and technology.

He’s been especially impressed with the fuel economy, averaging 8.7–9.3 MPG last week. Micky also loves the battery‑powered parking cooler, which keeps the cab and sleeper comfortable without idling. The system automatically starts the engine when the batteries need to recharge — a feature that he says has been a game‑changer.

Another favorite is the Command Steer, Mack’s driver‑assist technology that reduces steering effort by up to 85%. This makes long days on the road easier and safer. Micky also noted that the truck has such strong pulling power and torque that he could have even gone with a faster rear axle ratio for potentially better fuel economy.
