Nate and I got a little chilly today servicing equipment for InterChange Group, Inc.

Their cold storage facility is an amazing building full of great people. These lifts see sub zero temps all day making a sealed glass cab crucial for employees to work. Same day service meant we removed and cleaned the damaged glass and installed new custom cut AS-1 glass to prevent shattering in the future.

Smacked this unit out in 21 minutes start to finish. Talk about keeping fleets moving quick!

6.2L Dry Sump Gen V LT sporting ceramic headers, 3/4 race cam, valves, and springs.

One of the first with BTR’s new drive pulley set up. This will provide us the front end clearance to sit nicely in a 1965 Corvette. A few more steps to be ready for its first test fit, but significant progress is being made!

Dwight tackled an Audi S6 with ease replacing all 02 sensors with direct OEM parts. Properly torquing all hardware and finishing by resetting all fuel parameters. Efficiently solving the customers driveability and fuel mileage issues.

Both Nate and Dwight installed a Gillig City Transportation bus windshield while also replacing laminated door panes on a city school bus door.

Nate finishes up a fuel tank swap and Evap system repair using all OEM parts while Dwight tackles a wiring disaster on a newer GM truck.

Dwight came to us with several years of windshield, commercial and residential glass experience along side technical diplomas in the automotive industry. Most recently completing night courses in automotive mechanics. We’re proud of his drive, work ethic and the ‘intangibles’ of a valuable employee.

Nate comes to us as an upcoming graduate from UNOH focused on automotive mechanics. Upon completion of in person class work Nate began work with us while still continuing courses. Again, another example of work ethic, a positive attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile.

Seeing a ‘younger’ generation with this attitude everyday is a breath of fresh air. Eager to learn, punctual, and prideful of all work.

Did we really even work a week if we didn’t touch a truck for InterChange Group, Inc.?

Or without using our expertise in heavy equipment? Every week through the valley inevitably we end up solving a glass problem for the equipment world. This week was a fixed glass swap on a backhoe that rolled over. Its new cab showed up at the dealer, so mid process to prevent delays we took a team to their shop and swapped glass!

Once the cab swap is complete, we’ll follow it to its home shop and complete the remaining pieces to have it ready for service again.
