Forum member sirdaft1 has done 5K miles on the street along with half a dozen track days on his ‘79 911 turned GT2 EVO/RSR tribute. He describes the driving experience as having the opportunity to wheel a classic yet street legal Porsche cup car on the street or track. It’s raw, visceral, analog, and has no nannies.

It weighs just 2,300lbs and has 300RWHP from a 3.6L 993 VR motor paired to a 6-Speed G50 gearbox.

This car was built by John Simone and used as his personal race car. It was the 10th and final 993 GT2 Evo/RSR bodied 930’s he built along with Ron Palmer. Read more about it in our forum!
