Well we were supposed to run the Windy City Showdown with the Mid-Am series tomorrow at Grundy but Mother Nature had other plans. With a lot of cancellations and rescheduling, we will post a updated schedule very soon so stay tuned!
After waiting as long as we possibly could for the forecast to change, we've once again made the difficult decision to cancel/postpone this weekends racing programs. We talked with everyone involved on the racing side of things and between the significant rainfall we've received this week and the additional rain expected we have no other choice but to cancel. With so many people in the area still dealing with flooding, storm damage and some still without power we wanted to make the decision as early as possible. Plus factoring in that a majority of the Midwest Truck Series and Mid-Am Racing Series teams come from out of state, we didn't want to delay a decision that was pretty much inevitable.
The Cheryl Hryn Back to School backpack giveaway will still be taking place at the track Friday from 5pm to 7:30pm in the commercial building. Kids (Pre-K - High School) must be present to get a backpack and it's first come, first serve until they run out.
The Five-O Racing Benefiting Special Olympics event will now take place on Saturday October 10th. Also on the 10th will be the Figure 8 Trailer Race of Destruction along with special non point events for the Pure Stocks, Crown Vics & one other class. Stay tuned for more info.
The Midwest Truck Series and Mid-Am Racing Series were not able to reschedule, so both races will be canceled. We hope to have the Midwest Truck Series back in 2027. The Mid-Am Racing Series has a 2nd scheduled race here and will be in action during the Bettenhausen Memorial weekend on September 19th.

PS #2 - Moving to 9/4 as part of double feature program
SS - Moving to 8/28 as part of double feature program
CV - Moving to 9/18 as part of double feature program
SC - Moving to 8/21 as part of double feature program
In the next 48 hours, people who got tickets through the Ticket Hoss app should see their tickets transferred to the new date. If you can't make that date, you can request a refund through the app.
