🧡 What an incredible Halloween weekend at Wakeda! 🧡

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend so much fun — from our amazing site decorators, to the trick-or-treaters, those who handed out candy, the incredible costumes (both human AND canine! ), and everyone who brought such an infectious Halloween spirit to the campground all weekend long.

We would also like to thank Barbara S again for the terrifying Haunted House and amazing decorations throughout the campground. Best ever!

We truly have the BEST campers, and we are so grateful to everyone who participated, joined in the fun and helped make Halloween at Wakeda such a special weekend. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

• 8:00AM-9:00PM: Free Mini Golf for Wakeda Guests!
• 12:00PM-4:00PM: Coloring Activity (FREE)
• 12:00PM-4:00PM: Kids Halloween Scavenger Hunt (FREE)
• 6:00PM-8:30PM: Haunted House @ The Pavilion ("D" section)
• 6:15PM-6:30PM: Kids' Costume Parade! Meet at the playground and parade to the Trading Post to pick up your first treat! Make sure to take your picture in front of our photo wall! (FREE)
• 6:30PM-8:00PM: Trick or Treating! (FREE) All children (and children at heart) are invited to join in a Halloween stroll around the sites of Wakeda. Start at the Trading Post for your first treat and then walk around the campground. Stop for treats along the way at participating sites! Don’t forget your costume… simple or sophisticated, sweet or scary!!
• 6:30PM-8:00PM: Site Decorating Competition & Voting! Grab a ballot from the Trading Post, vote for your favorite site and return ballot by 8:30PM. Cash prizes for top 3 winners!

• Pick Up Pickleball @ 9am (FREE): All levels welcome! Just show up and plan to meet new people and have fun! This is a free activity, but you will need a cash deposit to rent paddles at the Trading Post or feel free to bring your own!
• Face Painting, 1-3pm ($1 per image): A fun way to add a little Halloween flair to your day! We kindly ask that you bring small bills (preferably $1s) to help keep things simple.
• Pumpkin Craft, 4-5pm ($5.00 per person): All ages! Get creative by decorating your very own wooden pumpkin craft!
• Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Competition & Parade, 6:30 pm (FREE!): Dress up your pup in their spookiest, silliest, or most creative Halloween costume and join us at the Trading Post for a tail-wagging good time. Prizes for the three best costumes and treats for all canine participants! Competition followed by short parade so the dogs can strut their stuff!
• Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundaes, 7-9pm: Create your ice cream masterpiece! Tons of ice cream flavors and toppings to choose from.
