Yesterday we added another Hi-Tie trailer tie system, giving this trailer a safer, stronger, and more convenient way to secure horses at events, trail rides, and overnight stays.

Whether you're hauling one horse or a full load, having reliable tie points can make all the difference when it's time to saddle up, cool down, or simply give your horses a comfortable place to stand outside the trailer.

We are excited to officially announce that Coastal Conversions will be exhibiting at the Ocean City (MD) RV Supershow this October!

This BrightDrop EV is continuing to take shape as we transform it into a fully custom mobile jewelry boutique!

One of the biggest changes we've made so far was removing the large overhead garage-style rear door that comes standard on these vehicles. While great for package delivery, it wasn't the right fit for a professional retail environment.

In its place, we fabricated and installed a much more business-friendly rear entry door complete with a window, creating a cleaner, more welcoming appearance for customers. We also added additional windows to bring in natural light and make the interior feel brighter, more open, and inviting.

It's amazing how much of a difference this single modification makes. The rear of the vehicle now feels less like a delivery van and more like a true mobile storefront.

This project is still in progress, but it's already a great example of how we can take an unconventional platform and completely reimagine it to fit a customer's vision.

One of our customers purchased an older RV with plans to tackle the renovation himself. As he started digging into the project, he discovered what many older RV owners eventually find—significant floor damage hidden beneath the surface from years of moisture intrusion and wear.

Rather than letting the project stall, he brought it to us for some structural help. We removed the compromised flooring, repaired and reinforced the subfloor, and installed a solid, secure foundation that he can confidently build on moving forward. While it was here, we also replaced a non-functioning refrigerator and rebuilt the cabinet that housed it.

To make the next phase of his DIY renovation easier, we finished things off with a durable new floor, giving him a clean, finished starting point for the rest of the build.

We love full custom conversions, but we're just as happy helping customers with specific portions of a project so they can keep moving forward on their own vision.

Today we said goodbye to this beautiful Clean Air Campervan, thoughtfully designed for customers who prioritize healthy living without sacrificing comfort or functionality.

This unique build features carefully selected natural, low-VOC, and chemical-free materials throughout the interior, creating a cleaner, healthier environment for life on the road. From the cabinetry and finishes to the insulation and interior components, every detail was chosen with indoor air quality in mind.

We're proud to have helped bring this vision to life and can't wait to see the adventures ahead for its new owners.

One of the most common conversations we have with customers is about portable power systems vs. fully integrated power systems in camper vans and mobile builds.

Portable systems absolutely have their place — and for some minimalist users, they can work very well. If your needs are limited to charging a phone, running lights, powering a fan, or maybe a small cooler, a portable setup may be perfectly adequate.

However, we do like to encourage customers to think carefully about their long-term goals before making a decision. Over the years, we’ve seen many people start with smaller portable systems, only to later add extra batteries, inverters, chargers, adapters, and work-arounds as their needs grow. In many cases, those upgrades end up approaching — or even exceeding — the cost of a properly designed all-in-one power system from the start.

For the vast majority of our customers, we recommend integrated power systems because they’re designed to comfortably handle real-world van life demands — including air conditioning, coffee makers, water heaters, hair dryers, induction cooking, and other high-draw appliances.

There’s a lot of information online right now, and not every solution is right for every customer. We simply encourage everyone to consider how they truly plan to use their build, both now and in the future, before choosing an electrical setup.

Today, we pause to remember the men and women who gave everything in service to this country.

As America marks 250 years as a nation, Memorial Day serves as a reminder that our freedoms, opportunities, and way of life have never come without sacrifice. The cost of war is heavy, carried not only by those we lost, but by the families, friends, and generations forever changed by that loss.

No matter where we come from or what we believe, today is a day for gratitude, reflection, and remembrance.
