Must have at least 5 years of experience Setting up and operating of general or specialized metalworking machines to repair ot rebuild automotive engine parts or auxiliary units, such as transmission, differential, springs etc. Must have extensive experience with lathes machines, boring and honing, grinding and fabrication of both commercial and non commercial gas and diesel engines. Salary depending on experience.

Knowledge of small engine theory (2 and 4 stroke): lubrication, cooling, ignition and fuel systems on lawn equipment, atv, utv, golf carts etc.
Experience with major manufacture brands like Honda, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton etc.
Extensive experience with electrical systems, plunger driven or axial pressure washer pumps and unloader systems, hydraulic theory, and associated diagnostic equipment and procedures.
Rate of pay is set on piece work.

J & L Auto and Marine is a Family owned Automotive Repair and Metal fabrication shop located in Hammonton, NJ. We are seeking an experienced and professional automotive mechanic to join our team. Must have at least 5 years experience working in a mechanical shop. Diesel engine service & welding experience a plus. Salary based on experience. Must be dependable, honest and drug free.

Part-time with potential Full Time (Hours of Operation M-F 9-6pm & Sat 9- 2pm)
