Truck or SUV, a shake when you brake is your brakes asking for attention. Here's what usually causes it. 👇

🔧 Brake rotors that have worn unevenly. The pads grab and release, and you feel it in the pedal or the wheel. 🔧 Worn pads, a sticking caliper, or worn suspension parts. 🛞 Shaking when you're not braking? Check your tires and wheel balance.

Shaking brakes can take longer to stop, especially when you're hauling or towing. If the pedal feels soft or sinks, stop driving and have it towed.

✅ Steady light, drives normally: usually OK to drive. Get it checked soon. ⚠️ Flashing light: usually a severe misfire. Ease off. If it keeps flashing, pull over safely and call for service. 🛑 Pull over right away for shaking, loss of power, a burning smell, smoke, or overheating.
