This is a just restored #1100837 alternator for all high horse 1969 Z28, L78 or COPO Camaro, Chevelle, or Nova. This is a typical stamp where many, but not all, have the short stamp 7 digit. This is also a correct dated original replated deep groove pulley, and we ink stamped the dated diode codes and reproduced the CZ code ink stamp build sheet code.

We do a lot of different types of Carburetors for many makes and models. This one is a rare #7026201 quadrajet for a 1966 Big Block Impala SS with Manual Trans. Pretty rare carb especially in this condition. This includes an original yellow plastic fast idle cam, of which most have giant stress fractures, and we found for it the correct original New Old Stock Rochester Products marked white choke pull off. What a joy to have and sell quality parts like this.

For those who have a keen interest in original stampings. This one is for a 1970 Ram Air GTO Man Trans. The interesting thing about it is Delco Remy mixed up the dies installed in the roll stamp machine. The last digit of the number should be a zero, but an upside down Q was used instead by mistake. Q's and 0's look pretty close, as do O's, so pretty easy to understand the mixup. Compare it to the taller earlier stamped 0. Also, Q isn't used in anything, since the last month code is M, so probably lots of Q's left over from a stamping die set. Just goes to show it wasn't a perfect operation, so when you see stuff, for instance, flat top 3's, and round top 3's BOTH being used on the same #1111437 distributor, it should not surprise you. Anyways, I know I'm a nerd on this stuff, but I thought you might like a look.

Tech tip for today. This is a before and after shot of an LS6 #1111437 distributor we just finished. The tip is, find the best core you can because it will directly effect the final results. I can make a bad one look good, but if you want the best, you have to buy a better one to begin with. This one turned out good compared to what we started with, but compare it to some of my previous posts.
