Well ... we're BACK AT IT! 😂🔧

Nothing says "long weekend is over" quite like walking back into this. 👀😂

We hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! We're back in the shop today, hitting the ground running and working our way through another busy, and slightly shorter than normal, week at Knights.

Parts coming off, parts going on, estimates going out and repairs moving along. 👏🏼

Yep, all of those go back on a vehicle somewhere. 😉

🇺🇸 LABOR DAY HOURS

Just a little heads-up from Knights! 👋🏼

We will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

We’ll be taking the extra day to enjoy a little time with our families, rest up and then we’ll be back at it Tuesday morning! 🔧🚗

We’re gonna brag on this kid for a minute. ❤️

Brayden has recently started trying his hand at detailing and we’ve really enjoyed watching him find something he takes pride in and wants to get better at.

He’s still fairly new to it, but with every vehicle he’s learning a little more, picking up tips from the guys around the shop and figuring out his own process along the way.

We have to say, he’s doing a pretty dang good job. 👏🏼

More than anything, we’re proud of the effort he puts into it. He genuinely cares about the little things and wants the customer to be happy when he hands their vehicle back to them.

There’s something pretty special about watching your kids grow up and start taking pride in their own work. ❤️

He’s just getting started, and we’re excited to see where he takes it. He’s currently booking detail appointments during his off time from being a mailman. 📬

Keep learning, keep working and keep taking pride in what you put your name on, Brayden. We’re proud of you! ❤️

This beautiful red Ford belongs to Joe & Lezlie Foote and these two are no strangers to Knights. ❤

There's just something about a repeat customer that means a little extra to us. When someone has trusted us with a vehicle before and chooses to come back when they need us again, that says a whole lot, we never take it for granted.

Joe & Lezlie, thank y'all for continuing to trust us. We sure appreciate your business and your support of our family-owned shop!

🚔 A little something different at Knights this week!

Our local police department brought us one of their new vehicles to get it ready for service with its graphics and identification decals and we got this one finished up yesterday. 👏🏼

You see it go from brand spankin' new ➡ installation ➡ ready to hit the road! 🚓🚨

When this one finished, they brought us in another to get started on.

Collision repair may be the biggest part of what we do here but it's definitely not the only thing happening.

We appreciate the Hamburg Police Department trusting us with their new vehicles and allowing us to play a small part in getting them ready to serve our community. 💜

To the men and women who will be behind the wheel - THANK YOU for what you do for Hamburg.

🚗 A Quick Note About Vehicle Drop-Off Etiquette

We want to address something that doesn’t come up often, but when it does, it can create a real problem for our shop.

When you drop your vehicle off with us for repairs, we do NOT expect it to be spotless or freshly detailed. We understand real life happens. Kids have toys in the floor, jackets get tossed in the backseat and sometimes there’s just stuff in your vehicle. That’s not what we’re talking about.

We’re talking about vehicles being dropped off in unsanitary conditions: old or rotting food, spilled drinks that have been sitting, excessive trash, sticky food residue, insects, or other conditions that can attract pests. We have actually had vehicles brought to us in the past that were bad enough that we could not begin repairs until they were cleaned.

Here’s why it matters:

During collision repair, we may have to remove a door, liftgate, glass, interior panels, or other parts that temporarily leave portions of your vehicle exposed. Vehicles also have to be moved in and out of the shop throughout the repair process. We work hard to keep our facility clean and control insects and pests, but we are still a working body shop and there is an open field behind our property.

Food, trash, and unsanitary conditions inside a vehicle can attract insects or rodents and create a risk not only to your vehicle, but to other customers’ vehicles and our facility as well.

Because of that, going forward, if a vehicle is dropped off in a condition that we believe is unsanitary or could attract pests, repairs may be delayed until the vehicle is cleaned. The owner will have the option to pick the vehicle up and clean it themselves, or we can arrange to have it cleaned at the vehicle owner’s expense before repairs begin.

Again, we’re not asking anyone to detail their vehicle before bringing it to us. We’re simply asking that it be reasonably clean, sanitary and free of excessive food and trash.

We take pride in our shop and in taking care of every vehicle entrusted to us. A little consideration at drop-off helps us protect your vehicle, our employees, our facility and everyone else’s property while it’s here.
