Responsibilities
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Prepare food items according to safety standards, including snacks, sandwiches, and other quick-service offerings
• Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, counters, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
• Upsell products to enhance sales and promote store specials or new items to customers
• Restock shelves, coolers, and food prep stations to ensure product availability at all times

Experience
• Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS system is a plus
• Culinary experience or background in quick service & fast food restaurants will be advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to upsell products effectively

We at Johnson Oil Co want to send out a great big "THANK YOU" to you, our customers! Your being considerate to the needs of our diesel customers made the time of construction at the Clark station uneventful.

The new dispensers (pumps) ⛽️ are programed, the concrete and blacktop are set and we're ready to meet your fuel needs.

Good news, Johnson Oil Co customers!!

The Clark station is quickly becoming usable again!

The tanks and dispensers (gas/fuel pumps) are installed, the cement is just about done curing and the asphalt was laid down today. The company that sets up the pumps is hard at work doing so, and the pumps will be ready to dispense product on Thursday morning (August 21st).

You will see in these pictures that the asphalt is coned off and we ask you to PLEASE STAY OFF IT UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING (August 21st) to give it time to set up.

The rear of the Clark building also received new asphalt. We also ask you to PLEASE DO NOT drive on it until the cones around it are removed. Some of the ground back there was moist when the asphalt was laid so extra care will be needed to make sure it is properly set up.

Good morning Johnson Oil Co (JOC) Clark Station customers. As you will recall from the earlier post JOC will be doing a fuel tank/dispenser replacement/update project starting on 7-14-25 (tomorrow).

Well, the equipment has shown up and the concrete surface has been cut.

You will notice that the area that will be affected is relatively compact and access to the car wash and the laundromat will still be available.

Concern for everyone"s safety has Johnson Oil Co asking that you would be aware of the situation, and that you would give the construction crews (and their equipment) the space that they need to perform their task.

This project will take 4-6 weeks to complete.

We repeat...please be attentive of the situation and think safety first!!

Greetings Hallock C-Store customers!

On 7-14-25 we begin a project to replace the tanks and dispensers at the Hallock Clark Station. This will take 4-6 weeks to complete. During this time all fueling for gasoline and diesel will need to be done at the Hallock Cenex C-store.

Truck and car traffic at the Cenex C-Store will increase and the need for safety will increase also.

It is not uncommon to see vehicles that are not fueling at the pumps, parked between the pumps and the C-Store building as people run in for their needs (Yours truly is an offender on this). With the increased congestion that will occur on the Cenex lot during the Clark project, we ask, for everyone’s safety, that customers park only in the designated areas.

These areas include: handicapped parking by the west wall of Cenex, along the wall by Bakken Boots, in the marked parking areas on both US Highway 75 and MN Highway 175, and in an open empty lot east of the alley that Johnson Oil Co purchased and graveled. We’ve included some picture of these areas.

Stop by the Hallock Cenex C-Store and check out the new display/cooler!

This is such an interesting cooler since it cools, and then it recycles that cool air. That way it affects the ambient room temperature as little as possible.

The Cenex staff will keep it stocked with the convenience products you need for your day.
