Terry was a cornerstone of the towing and recovery industry and a driving force behind WreckMaster from the early days. He dedicated his life to educating operators across North America, helping tens of thousands work safer at the roadside and return home to their families.

Terry was a true professional—detail-oriented, thoughtful, and deeply committed to doing things the right way. More importantly, he was genuine, authentic, and a mentor to so many of us who had the privilege to work alongside him.

His impact goes far beyond the classroom. It lives on in every operator who carries his lessons forward each day.

Dear public motorist
When your calling for a tow truck because your vehicle has broken down take this into consideration.

You may not like prices from certain tow companies but just know you get what you pay for. Cheaper is not always better and proper is equipment is required with the right insurance. If you don't take this into consideration when getting a quote or choosing a tow company for your vehicle, understand your putting yourself and your vehicle at risk.

Generator Winter Precautions: When using generators during winter, it's crucial to follow these precautions to ensure safety and prevent potential hazards:

To use a generator safely, always run it outdoors at least 20 feet from your home, with exhaust pointing away from doors, windows, and vents, to prevent deadly carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.

Never use it indoors or in a garage. Keep it dry, turn it off, and let it cool before refueling, and use heavy-duty, outdoor-rated extension cords or a transfer switch, never plugging it directly into your house wiring. Install CO detectors and keep children and pets away from the unit.

Location & Ventilation
Outdoors Only: Operate generators outside, far from living spaces.

Distance: Keep it at least 20 feet away from your house, with exhaust directed away from windows, doors, and vents.

Clearance: Allow 3-4 feet of clear space on all sides and above for ventilation.

Dry Surface: Place on a dry, level surface, protected from rain and snow. If you do keep your generator in an area with an overhang, please use caution and make sure all sides are vented so that no CO can accumulate in or around the generator.

ALSO, if you do lose power, please visit your power company's website to report your outage and see which areas are affected. These maps will allow you to see real-time information and the status of your outage.
