HAGERSTOWN TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Pangborn Boulevard
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, Pangborn Boulevard will be closed to through-traffic between Security Road and View Street while contractors trim trees along Pangborn.
Drivers approaching the closure will be required to detour via other City streets, and will encounter cones, barricades and other traffic control devices. The work is expected to be completed and the street reopened to traffic by 1 p.m.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Pangborn Blvd.

A contractor working for the City’s Department of Public Works will be trimming trees along Pangborn Blvd. In order to provide space to perform the work, a temporary street closure will be required.

Therefore, beginning at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, October 14th, Pangborn Blvd. will be closed to through-traffic between Security Road and View Street. Motorists approaching the closure will be required to detour via other City streets, and will encounter cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices. It is anticipated that the work will be completed, and the street reopened to traffic, by 1:00 PM on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency vehicles will not be able to pass through this section of Pangborn Blvd. while the closure is in effect but will be able to respond to service calls in the closure area.

At 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, the westbound lane of South Cannon Avenue will be closed to traffic between Cleveland Avenue and Baltimore Street while work crews from the City’s Water Division replace a water valve. The eastbound lane will remain open to traffic.
Drivers approaching the closure will encounter cones, barricades, flagmen and other traffic control devices. TRAFFIC ADVISORY: S. Cannon Avenue

On Monday, October 5th, work crews from the City’s Water Division will be replacing a water valve in S. Cannon Avenue. In order to complete the work, a temporary lane closure will be required.

Therefore, beginning at 8:00 AM, the westbound lane of S. Cannon Avenue will be closed to traffic between Cleveland Avenue and Baltimore Street; the eastbound lane will remain open to traffic. Flagmen will be used to direct traffic through the work area. Motorists approaching the closure will encounter cones, barricades, flagmen, and other traffic control devices. It is anticipated that the work will be completed by 12:00 PM, at which time the lane will be reopened to traffic.

Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through this section of S. Cannon Avenue while the lane closure is in place, but dispatchers should be aware that temporary traffic congestion and delays are possible.

Drivers approaching the closure will be required to detour via other City streets, and will encounter cones, barricades and other traffic control devices. The work is expected to be completed and the street reopened to traffic by 3 p.m.

Motorists approaching the closure will be required to detour via other City streets, and will encounter cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices. It is anticipated that the work will be completed, and the street reopened to traffic, by 3:00 PM.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, the right travel lane of South Potomac Street will be closed to traffic between Washington Street and Antietam Street while a contractor makes repairs to the front of the Maryland Theatre building.
The left travel lane on South Potomac Street will remain open.
Drivers approaching the closure will encounter cones, barricades, lane shift signs and other traffic control devices. The work will be completed and the lane reopened to traffic by 4 p.m.
This same closure will be repeated from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Therefore, beginning at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 22nd, the right travel lane of S. Potomac Street will be closed to traffic between Washington Street and Antietam Street; the left travel lane will remain open. Motorists approaching the closure will encounter cones, barricades, lane shift signs, and other traffic control devices. It is anticipated that the work will be completed by 4:00 PM, at which time the lane will be reopened to traffic. This same closure will be repeated from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23rd.

Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through this block of S. Potomac Street while the lane closure is in effect, but dispatchers should be aware that there may be traffic congestion and delays in this block.
