*Performs preventative maintenance services and repairs on fleet vehicles and customer vehicles. Includes light duty cars, pick up trucks, box trucks, tractor trailers and small equipment.

*Performs roadside emergency repairs on medium and heavy duty trucks and trailers for customers in need of assistance.

*Maintain inventory and cleanliness of company vehicle used for roadside repairs.

*Complete preventative maintenance inspections and work order documents detailing items inspected, parts and supplies used to complete task(s).

*Have the ability to complete more complex diagnosis and repairs under the supervision of Shop Foreman and/or Service Manager

*Have the ability to read electrical system schematics and follow diagnostic steps from service resources.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

*A minimum of two (2) years of diesel and automotive experience as a technician in functions such as inspections, repairs, modifications and troubleshooting vehicles and vehicle systems.

*Communication skills required to interact with co-workers and management

*Written and computer skills required to complete documentation of assigned tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*Must be willing and able to work a rotating schedule of On-Call hours that includes nights and weekends.

*Must have current Driver's License, submit to Driving Record Check and Drug Screening

*Must hold or obtain a Federal DOT Medical Certification Card, within one (1) month of employment.

*Must have knowledge of operation of Class 6-8 Trucks

*Must have tools required to perform daily work task(s).

*Must be in uniform during working hours

JOB BENEFITS:

*Hourly Pay during normal business hours, Monday - Friday

*On-Call Guaranteed Wages. Commission based Pay for all After Hours (nights and weekend) assignments, not included in base annual wage(s).
