Suspension checks don’t sell the job—showing what you find does.
Anyone can recommend parts. The shops that win long-term are the ones that show and explain the “why.”
When you’ve got it in the air, point out what matters:
👉 Torn ball joint boots
👉 Measurable play in joints
👉 Cracked or separated bushings
👉 Noisy strut mounts
👉 Tire wear that tells a camber/toe story
The difference-maker? Knowing when to recommend it now vs. when it can safely wait—and being able to explain that clearly at the counter. And don’t skip this: if you’re replacing major suspension components, set the expectation for an alignment. It protects the repair, the tires, and your reputation.
The goal isn’t to sell more—it’s to build confidence in every recommendation you make.
