To Our Beloved Dizzy B's Family,
There are some goodbyes that are simply too heavy for words.
For weeks, Kimberly and I have tried to write this letter, and every time we sat down, the memories would come flooding back. After countless prayers, many tears, and trusting God's direction, we made one of the hardest decisions of our lives. As of July 17, 2026, our family's chapter at Dizzy B's Country Store came to an end.
This was not a decision we made lightly.
For 21 years, Dizzy B's was never just a business to our family.
It was home.
It was where lifelong friendships were formed, where stories were shared across the counter, where prayers were offered, where children grew up before our eyes, and where strangers walked in but almost always left as friends.
When people think of Dizzy B's, many remember the breakfast, Taco Friday, fresh coffee, or one of Mom's homemade meals.
But when I think of Dizzy B's…
I think of my sweet mom.
To so many of you she wasn't Jennifer Williams.
She was simply Mrs. B.
For nearly twenty years, she was the heart and soul of that little country store.
She remembered your names before you expected her to.
She remembered what you drank, what you usually ordered, and she always seemed to know when someone needed a smile, a hug, or a prayer.
She celebrated your victories like they were her own.
She cried with you during your hardest days.
She prayed for you, even when you never knew she was praying.
She never met a stranger.
She had a God given gift of making every person who walked through those doors feel seen, valued, and loved.
That wasn't customer service.
That was simply who my mom was.
Long before people talked about "building community," she was living it every single day.
When she was diagnosed with glioblastoma, this community wrapped its arms around our family in ways we will never be able to repay. Your prayers, your meals, your hugs, your cards, your encouraging words, and your love carried us through the darkest season of our lives.
When Mom went home to be with Jesus, walking back into Dizzy B's was one of the hardest things we have ever done.
Every corner reminded us of her.
Her laughter.
Her smile.
Her famous biscuits and gravy.
Taco Fridays.
The countless conversations that somehow always lasted just a little longer because someone needed to know they mattered.
Every single day we walked through those doors, we felt her presence.
Although she is no longer standing behind that counter, her legacy never left those walls.
It lives on in every life she touched.
If Mom ever made you laugh...
If she ever prayed with you...
If she ever listened when you needed someone...
If she ever remembered your name, your family, or your favorite order...
If she ever made you feel like family...
Then you are part of her legacy.
And that legacy is far greater than any business could ever be.
Continuing Dizzy B's without Mom has been one of the greatest challenges our family has ever faced. We did it because we loved this community just as much as she did.
After months of prayer, we knew it was time to close this chapter.
That doesn't make it any easier.
Leaving Guymon is one of the hardest parts of this journey.
This community didn't just support a small country store.
You loved our family.
You celebrated life's greatest moments with us.
You cried with us during unimaginable loss.
You prayed for us when we couldn't find the words ourselves.
You have been the hands and feet of Jesus to our family, and that is something we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.
My dad, Lowell, also wanted us to share how deeply grateful he is.
For over two decades, you supported not only Dizzy B's, but also him and his beautiful wife, Jennifer. Thank you for every friendship, every conversation, every kind word, every prayer, and every act of love you showed them throughout the years. Knowing how much this community loved Jennifer has brought him comfort that words cannot describe, and he will always cherish the memories you helped create together.
As we close this chapter, we hope you'll remember Dizzy B's not because of a building or a business.
We hope you'll remember what it stood for.
Faith.
Kindness.
Honesty.
Hard work.
Helping your neighbor.
Sharing a meal.
Listening to someone's story.
Treating everyone like family.
And loving people the way Jesus loves us.
From the bottom of our hearts...
Thank you for every breakfast served.
Thank you for every Taco Friday.
Thank you for every cup of coffee.
Thank you for every smile across the counter.
Thank you for every conversation that became a friendship.
Thank you for every prayer.
Thank you for every hug.
Thank you for believing in our family.
Most of all...
Thank you for loving my sweet mom.
There will never be another Mrs. B.
The love she gave this community can never be measured, and seeing how deeply you loved her in return has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives.
Although this chapter has ended, the memories never will.
Buildings may change.
Businesses may be sold.
Signs may stay the same or someday disappear.
But love leaves a legacy that can never be bought, sold, or replaced.
Thank you for allowing our family and especially my sweet mom, Jennifer to be a part of your lives for the past 21 years.
That will always be the greatest blessing Dizzy B's ever gave us.
May God richly bless each of you, watch over your families, and fill your lives with the same kindness and love that Mom shared so freely with everyone she met.
Until we meet again...
With all our love and heartfelt gratitude,
Cory & Kimberly Williams
