It’s been announced that Jeff Lutz will be chasing the all-5-second Drag Week in Mad Max…which has been sold to Rick Ware Racing. RWR owns cars in multiple race series including NHRA with the Top Fuel cars of Clay Millican and Tony Schumacher. Lutz is currently working as crew on Clay’s car.

Is pro team ownership much different than the wealthy guys who own other Unlimited drag-drive cars? Lutz built this car, services it himself, fixes stuff at the side of the road, and will continue to drive along with Jeffrey co piloting. So, what’s your take?

The Pro Mod community is mourning the loss of Shane Molinari, a respected West Coast racer and longtime doorslammer competitor.

Molinari made his mark on the NHRA Pro Mod stage, including a standout 2017 season highlighted by his first NHRA Pro Mod victory at Norwalk. Shane earned the respect of racers and fans across the country.

Our thoughts are with Shane’s family, friends, crew, and the entire racing community following his passing after a crash at Sonoma Raceway.
