about a decade ago, i was playing with Solidworks design software at night, while ' watching TV' and modeled a complete streetstock racecar chassis, the car type we were racing, and drive train with known and assumed dimensions, in molding the engine tho, i had questions about the dynamics, efificiency and forces... and after working a few models and a lot of deep pondering thoughts, i gave into assuming, if it wasn't already mainstream, it didnt work for some reason. assuming it was a balancing issue, i moved on... Fast forward a decade, again watchin tv at night, but now accessing many you tube vids on engineering, and i stumble onto to this video.... my instincts were correct!! balancing issues, but the power increase and friction decreases seemed worth the trouble, right??, and lil did i know, some engineers were also working on this.
and all of this started while i was designing a cam action locking mechinism a few year before these thoughts.. Never stop learning! Never give up! learn something new every day!!
Let's imagine two engines made from the same parts. They have the same crankshaft, the same piston, the same wrist pin and the same connecting rod. The only ...
