It is a specialized automotive tool used for resurfacing brake rotors and drums to remove imperfections like warping or scoring.Key Specifications & PerformanceCapabilities: Designed for both passenger cars and light trucks. It can handle drums from 6" to 28" in diameter and discs (rotors) up to 20" in diameter.Operating Speeds:Spindle Speed: Typically 160 RPM (some models like the 702 offer dual speeds of 105 or 160 RPM).Feed Speeds: Features two specific settings—Rough Cut (.0125" per revolution) for material removal and Finish Cut (.005" per revolution) for a smooth surface.Motor: Equipped with a 1 HP motor, generally 115-230V single-phase.Weight: The unit itself weighs approximately 350 lbs.
