Is your life a titanic or an Ark?

Basic safety standards would have saved many lives on the titanic. Hit fewer icebergs and have more safety boats. Never assume, but know and plan. Life is this way, never think you have it all figured out! The builders of the titanic said it was “unsinkable”, that didn’t work out so well and there was a great shortage of life boats and many lives were lost. So what do you have all figured out, do you think you are unsinkable, too important or just too arrogant to know? I know when I try to live life my way, I hit iceberg after iceberg, I take on water and sink every time and my plan b the life boats all are missing. The disciples thought they would just cross over the sea as Jesus instructed, but found out in the storm they were not ready to face that massive adversary, they were not mature enough yet in their faith and they panicked, the boat was taking on water and they cried out to Jesus as the last resort, before sinking. Jesus simply replied to the storm and then said to the disciples where was your faith? Our faith had to be built by Christ, His word and His spirit or we will surely fail. Jesus said the foolish man will build his house on the sand, to build on the sand is by his own effort, by his own call, by his own presumption and not on any sure foundation, he just jumped and put together his life on his own. Jesus said and then the rains and winds came and great was the fall of his house. His house was engineered like the titanic, he thought he would never sink! Ever seen anyone like this or have we been like this. This would be a person living in a paradigm of clawing self interest. They spend their life do***ng icebergs and still end up on the bottom. Jesus also said the man who hears His word and obeys is the man who builds his house on the rock, a firm foundation of faith, trust and confidence in Christ. When the storms and winds came the house remained perfectly intact. The difference is the sand man built his own titanic. The Rock man built an ark that could not sink. In 1519 Cortez invaded the Aztec kingdom and when he landed the ships he gave an order to burn the boats. The sure implication is there is no plan B, we see here and now we have to win. there is no retreat. So how do we proceed? Do we build our own structure and plan our own agenda then become lost in the paradigm of our own selfish ego? If so, the warning will be to look for the icebergs of trouble, they are coming. Or do we let God build our house, let Him plan our way and guide us into His perfect will. If so then we will be like the ark, it will float regardless of the storms, winds and troubles. We do not need a plan B. We just need to be taught, be accountable to authority and be a warrior. Win the days. Don’t let the hard days win.

And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house upon the sand. Occupy until I come.

As the Israelites stepped into the promised land, God gave them specific lands, boundaries and resources to live, occupy and thrive. That was the purpose. Each tribe had its own unique identity, destiny and skill sets and yet they all were part of a greater being that contributed to the development and success and protection of each of the communities. They fought together against common enemies and worshipped as one unto Jehovah. This may not truly register with us but we are not much different. We all belong to one nation, but each of us have our own land, economies, houses of families, with all having gifts, skills and destinies that may differ, but we are all part of of whole in Christ. Thinking about this, we can see how important it is for us to cultivate our inheritance from God, to walk in our giftings, and understanding a great call is to serve our God,Who placed us here, gave us specific places to be and live, created us each differently to contribute to the whole of the communities of God. Each of us are responsible for what we have been given just as each tribe was given land and resources. We too have e been given resources, grace, favor and mercy to accomplish all He created us to do, so as we all can fight for our united heritage of this land, just as Israel has done for 2 millennia. Each of us attend a Bible believing church and we have a common worship and out of that worship comes His word to guide us into our callings. God place His church here from our beginning so we could be a city on a hill and a light the world, this is our united calling. However we cannot do this if we are disunited in His will. Israel thrived as long as they served God and worshiped Him, they also were overrun by enemies when they forgot the Jehovah. Jeremiah 29:7: says pray for the peace and welfare the city that you have been sent, and in that peace and welfare you will have peace and welfare. As believers we should have a wall of prayer around our houses, cities and our nation. To fight the evil and call in the righteous. We are to speak boldly the word of God, live boldly by the word of God and refuse to compromise to get along nope, God gave us a command and we must obey. As we move into our 250th anniversary as a people, the battle is coming to destroy us and our light. So stand in your house and serve the Lord. Stand in your city and serve the Lord. Make your voice heard in the heavenly place by praying faithfully and boldly. Jesus said to occupy until He returns. This means to carry on business, accomplish great things. So let’s occupy, walk in our place, make our nation a city on a hill. Pray that our city will also be a light and a leader. But occupy faithfully.

Siege works, nets and entanglements

The other night I read in proverbs about nets that entangle many. The more I thought about this the more I am convinced the enemy uses his tactics, and other people trying to tangle us up in nets to destroy us along with the stupid things we do to entangle our own self in all kinds of thoughts and actions.
Nets are entanglements that tie up our feet, trip and capture us and will not allow us the freedom to move.
Ps 91.3. For THEN He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.” The fine print is in verse 2 when David says I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress and on Him I will trust. Once we make that declaration in faith, He will deliver us from the SNARES.
Snares are of calamities, plots, works of the agents of calamity, hunters and trappers. These have only one goal, to entrap, to entangle and destroy. This is why our life seems to be stuck in a rut or a pit of mirey clay, now however we can begin understand what is happening. The more I think on this, the more I can see the strategy of how the enemy works. If the enemy can trap you with a snare, you can only move as far as the snare will allow you to move. What ever the snare or entanglements are, as long as we are blinded by them, we can never escape the net and be free. Proverbs 1:17 says in vain is the net spread in the sight of any bird. The word bird means: citizens or inhabitants. So it would be in vain for the devil to set a snare or spread a net in front of you, but he does many times and we fail to see it and walk right into it. Ps 91 says the Lord will deliver us from the snare of the Fowler, how does this work? Is it automatic because we quote a verse or two and go merrily on our way? So what is our part, David declares exactly Who God was to him, and he meant it. Remember David was an apple after the heart of God, why? Because David was obedient and will carry out the program of God. When we are absolutely honest of Who God is to us, then God will deliver us from the snare of the hunter, notice the word says “from” which means we have to be vigilant, we have to have eyes wide open and work nonstop on our discernment. When we feel entangled, we can call upon God and He will free our life from every calamity and every snare. Life can only be lived to the fullest when we are not captured by snares. We can only live our destiny when we are free and not held by a snare. Today get free from every wicked entanglement and live in the freedom of Christ. Complete the program of God.

Our cause.

What is our cause. David said is there not a cause, a covenant to defend, an honor to gain, a victory to be had. Goliath challenged Israel day after day. He challenged their faith, their honor and their destiny. He challenged God and then Israelites hid. There will be moments in our journey that require us to see a cause that we need to make a stand and fight for. This could be almost anything in your path, that will cause you to stop, like David and say, is this not a cause, this is a place I will not surrender and hide, but i will see this cause as a challenge to my destiny and the will of God for me and my house. Too many times we see the noise bellowing out challenges and threats and we want to be like the Israelites and just run. I believe they wanted to fight, but the one giant made them lose their confidence and fight. I understand the Israelites, I understand the feelings just wanting to hide and hope the noise goes away. I understand the feeling of just not wanting to battle anymore. I understand the feeling of hopelessness as I hear the voice of a giant shouting out threats and attacking my faith and hope. I understand all these things, because I have lived it. I have wanted to quit but that was not an option. I wanted to not have to use faith I didn’t have, but I had too. The word cause in 1 Samuel 17 means: words‭, business, occupation, acts, matter, case. So David is saying is there not a case to fight for, is there not matter of business of God to defend. Is there not words that need to be spoken to break the shouts of fear, the shouts of challenges and shouts of the dishonoring of God. David was saying we have to stop this noise by stopping the source. We have take care of business here and now or we will forever be defeated. We need to stand in our faith in God right now. This is what we need to do. Find the cause and take a stand and fight. Find a cause and speak the words of the covenant and refuse to back down. But speak faith louder than the giant is speaking fear. Whatever is challenging us is giving rise to the cause and a call to action David‘s life ran to the challenge and cut off the head of the source. Find your cause. Hold your ground and run to the source-of the noise and take the weapon from our enemy and use it to destroy their plans.

Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin: but I come to thee in the name of Jehovah of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. Commanding your day

God speaking to Job asks: Have you commanded the morning since your days began and caused the dawn to know its place,” of course God was letting Job know Who the creator of all things is, by asking Job this question. But we can take a lesson here and ask ourselves, do we speak to our day to line up with the will of God, or just hope and pray all will be well. Every morning when we wake up, we are facing a new day. With each day, we will face challenges, adversities and the opportunities to have victory and to be a witness about the goodness of God. So why do we not command our day instead of just trying to navigate it. Most of us are in a defensive position almost always. We wake praying (or we should) about a list of things, and yet we never address the day itself. Is this scriptural? Joshua prayed Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.” And the sun stood still, and the moon stopped. Also the prophet Isaiah prayed, and God caused the shadow to reverse—implying the sun’s apparent position shifted backward roughly 40 minutes of time. If they prayed about their day so powerfully to win victory and demonstrate the strength of God’s promises, I believe we should address each of days like they did. May sound different, however does not the word our Lord say to ask, pray, make petitions and give thanks. Also it says to make know our wants and needs. So I think we should arise each morning and command the day to yield to the will of God for us. We should command the day to be fruitful, to provide opportunities, breakthroughs and divine connections. We should look at this day as a gift from God and make the most of every moment and opportunity it provides. We should not just make it through each day but finish it with gratitude and victory. Ps 118:24 says this is the day the Lord is made, and I will be glad and rejoice in it!! So wake up, speak and command your day to line up with your destiny and the will of God. Never dread your days, dread is fear, so expect good things to take place and rejoice for this day expect something good to happen.

This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, we beseech You, O Lord; send now prosperity, O Lord, we beseech You, and give to us success!”

How do you see yourself?

In Exodus 1 we read that there arose a pharaoh over Egypt which did not know Joseph. Which means all the blessings that Joseph brought had been forgotten, this happens when we fail to rehearse to our children’s and children’s life all the praiseworthy deeds of God. They are forgotten over just a few generations. This is what had happened. But pharaoh makes a startling statement about Israel, he said; , Behold, the Israelites are too many and too mighty for us and they outnumber us both in people and in strength! Pharaoh saw Israel as a mighty giant in his land and he was afraid they would wake up one day and challenge Egypt. Odd how things look from different eyes. Pharaoh saw Israel as a giant and Israel saw themselves as grasshoppers just a few years later. Pharaoh makes another statement, he said; Come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply more and, should war befall us, they join our enemies, fight against us, and escape out of the land. Pharaoh had the blessings of God on his land because of the Israelites, but what he didn’t know they too had fallen away from God and become ingrafted to a deep place into the culture of Egypt. Pharaoh said let us deceive and deal shrewdly and enslaved them so they will not be able to rise up against us. He said unless they leave! As long as he could keep them bound he used them. Does any of this sound familiar? The devil knows that in Christ we are are stronger and more powerful than he is and when we wake up to this we will leave his land of darkness and move into the kingdom of light and be the enemy of the devil we should be and serve God. The devil deals shrewdly and uses strategies to keep us thinking like the Israelites, unable to break free. The devil never wants us to become aware that Christ has liberated us from his dominion over us. The day we realize what Christ has done for us, who He made us to be and all the strength and power He has infused into our being, that we can think like overcomers and not defeated souls and grasshoppers.

A parasitic mindset

Parasite: Living off another organism (host), benefiting at the host’s expense — taking resources without giving anything back, often causing harm. and figuratively for people or things that drain or exploit others without contributing. So group of parasitic mindsets that have their minds so infected by darkness and error that they drain and exploit others for their own benefit. Yet in our culture we see this phenomenon being revealed and the end game is so cloudy because they are being manipulated to create an Antichrist type chaos. When a person’s mind becomes infected with the parasites of evil, darkness will always reveals itself with violence and destruction. When a culture allows itself to be attacked and become apologetic for its history, that culture is letting the infected mindsets of evil destroy its own self. This is how the demonic works, planting thoughts that become an ideology that becomes a caustic action and unfortunately many just sit back and watch. Why does this happened? It is happening right in our land. A Cultural begins to split and then we have people committing acts of violence against others and it is accepted and some even make excuses for this behavior of evil. If we don’t pray about this we are headed for a violent inflection point that we not recover. Islam, socialism and a few from Catholicism and other religious groups are attempting blending together to created a racial and religious divide thot creates so much confusion that it could remove the US from being a world leader. Over the last two years this has gotten worse, incompetent leaders have emerged, fraud is beyond anything we could have imagined, rouge judges condemning innocent people and releasing criminals. When we allowed people to violate our laws and then failed to apply the consequences of such action, it only makes things so unbelievable worse. In the scripture we see something similar. Israel had been defeated and many that were captured and sent to Babylon. During the exile Jerusalem’s wall and gates were destroyed, the temple violated and had much damaged. The people had forgotten how to worship and serve God. Their culture was nearly lost. Their heritage of worship and faith was nearly lost. Their covenant with God was silent. A parasitic evil heart and mindset has settled on them. But it only took one man and his faithfulness to break that cycle. Nehemiah received his mission from God and he rebuilt the walls and set the gates. Cleansed and restored the temple and long with Ezra they restored worship, and holiness with the Lord. Moses was one man, Samuel was one man, Mordecai was one man and Esther was one person. All of these had a mission to restore. This evil parasitic mind and heart that is infecting our nation must be destroyed. It takes you and me praying, speaking truth to the darkness and ourselves living in the light with a boldness of power and anointing. We have to stand up and intercede and pull down these evil spirits. We pray for the people that God has called will stand up and occupy their place. Enough is enough and no more. We have to awaken to what is happening and coming or we will go into an exile of darkness.

Sheep. Wolves. Serpents.

With Counsel wage your war. You cannot do this alone and if you try you will be badly wounded by the wolves and serpents and become detached from the thing you need to be doing. We are not built to be alone in battles or in life, even David had his mighty men, Daniel had his three friends and Mordecai and Esther had each other, we need the help that God alone can provide, the right people and the strength of favor and goodness. We are destined to function as an army in life with the counsel of God and wise counsels from those who have proven their worth and you can trust!
Jesus said we are living in the midst of wolves. The word WOLVES indicates; cruel, greedy, rapacious, destructive men, but they can appear innocent. We are living in the midst of generations of wolves, that appear innocent but really they are cruel, greedy and destructive and wickedly violent people with the desire to rule and control and will use any means necessary to accomplish their ends to destroy the kingdom of God. Remember these wolves are agents of darkness, greedy, graspers, without morals or loyalty and those people that are not trustworthy, principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places all controlled and dominated by the antichrist spirit that is actively at work in our nation to destroy righteous authority and to destroy you because of what God has placed in you.
To win the war in the midst of the wolves and the darkness within our communities, cities, our nation and our own house we have to be WISE AS SERPENTS which means: we have to be prudent, quick in perception and circumspect in all things, be invisible and quiet until we are ready to strike. It is absolutely necessary that we know the will and voice of God and be able to see the path forward. This demands a life completely committed to Godly excellence, filled with the power of Holy Spirit and be pure at all times. We will face the wolves, those they are greedy, selfishness, jealous, and those that are are blinded by conceit, who wish to hurt you just because they think they can, so we have to fight always without taking a break but fighting, because wolves are in packs, we have to be on guard, they surround themselves with the same dark character. To win we must be more confident in our God and our calling and anointing than the wolves are in theirs. We have to be willing to stand in the midst of the wolves/darkness as Daniel stood in the lions den. We have to willing to challenge the growling and snarling of the wolves and never be intimidated or afraid. Living like this takes courage and a passion that DRIVES us to win regardless of the howling and growling of the wolves. Peter said our enemy roams about like a roaring lion seeking someone to destroy. James says withstand him and he will flee. We have the authority to bind and loose and the authority to use the name of Jesus in our walk of life. There not a single verse that says we are to quit and forget about overcoming . Just accept the problems as your load to bear. For my God says that Greater is He in me than He that is in the world. My God says He will meet all my needs. My God is my advocate and my defense. What can I fear if God be for me, what can be against me. Neither wolves nor lions or devils nothing. We win if we refuse to quit seek righteous counsel of trusted people and listen to God and follow the plan of war.

Process and great outcomes.

Why focus on the process when the world is outcome driven? Don't results matter? Yes, results do matter. But if you optimize for the outcome, you win one time. If you optimize for a process that leads to great outcomes, you can win again and again."
If all we do is chase after some outcome without developing the right process, what happens after the outcome? Do we have a plan to repeat the outcome or have to start all over? Outcomes are the end goal but developing the right process is more important to have a continued flow.
Since God is a God of order and not disorder, means He has a plan and a way to always carry out His plan with order to achieve the right outcome. Without a continued process any achieved desired outcomes be accidental instead of planned. Proverbs 16 says that a man has disciplined and orderly thinking. A man will plan his way. If we roll all our works onto the Lord, then He will give us the wise answer, ordain our steps and cause our thoughts to harmonized with His Will so these plans will come to pass. Life is endless choices, but for our life to be blessed and meaningful then we must the right framework of processes to achieve the right outcomes. Optimization to achieve outcomes without the right continued plan of God will not end well. Take the time to build good habits, take time to pray and meditate and listen and wait for the right sound like David. Take the time to prepare the ground, plant the seeds, cultivate the crops and be prepare to harvest like a farmer. Take the time to worship and magnify the Lord always before doing anything. Take the time create the right offensive like an army.
It is time for us to move into new and unprecedented mighty things that are far above and beyond anything we could ever imagine. It is time to stop wasting time but be productive. Take the risk, make the step, have the confidence of our Father, in which all things are possible and He is the Lord God of the breakthroughs!

Never underestimate the goodness of God.

I never become weary of looking at David’s life. If we look at his life, he was somewhat rejected by his own brothers. He was sent to the fields to shepherd sheep while his brothers were warriors. He had a heart for God however even as he was alone much of his time. But he refused to bow to the rejection and he walk on the battlefield and took down the giant everyone was fearful of. Saul was jealous and tried to kill David, so David lived in the midst of his enemies and he still battled, he never stopped. When his camp was raided, instead of panic, he encountered himself in God and brought back all that had been stolen. David’s life for 15 years of running and war, separated from family, but he keep going. So David’s life was not just one big event and he became king. David life was filled with adventure, discouragement, hurt but he always knew in Whom he trusted.
James says Elijah was a man just like us, but he PRAYED. Elijah had his moments, the discouragement and fear, but he prayed.
Nehemiah was also just man, but he heard God and rebuilt the walls Jerusalem and brought back righteous.
What about you? Do I think I cannot do this or I am not strong enough. I can’t because I don’t have the connections. I can’t because I just know I can’t. Is this you? David, Elijah or Nehemiah never stopped, even though I am sure there were times they all may have wanted to quit. I know I have, after fighting endless battles, I had many opportunities to quit. But every time that heaviness would try to creep in, I would think of what God has promised. I would think about the prophecies I have received and I know God’s word will never return void. I know if I keep moving in my journey, I will come out the other side of the valley. I know if I trust God in the midst of chaos, I will find peace. I know if I trust God in the storms, He always provides a shelter. I have to remember David endured years of battles, then he was king. Nehemiah has to endure all the taunts of others as he rebuilt the walls. Elijah had to endure jezebel and all the attacks, but he prayed. I remember reading in Luke a few days ago about Mary receiving the word from an angel, and she said: let be done unto me as you have spoken. What a powerful faith statement. When we understand that God will always remember what He has promised to you and me. Our part is never give up, never stop moving and keep believing. Just like David encouraged himself in the Lord, let us in those times of great stress, find our place of encouragement and strength in Jehovah and go and win the days. David, Elijah, Nehemiah and others always understood the goodness of God. For it is His goodness that has kept me in the darkest of times. It is His goodness that brought me through.

“[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!” Psalm‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬
