Tidewater Lumber and Moulding was established in 1980 by Ed Voorhees. Ed started Tidewater by providing value added services to lumber such as planing, ripping, and creating moulding. Today, we stock over 25 species of lumber and can create over 100 different moulding profiles for Architect’s, Lumber Yards, and Builders. We also distribute lumber and plywood to cabinet makers and custom furniture
builders. We manufacture many different products such as architectural mouldings, flooring, paneling, siding, decking, and flooring accessories. We manufacture and supply many types of siding including cypress and bark. We also manufacture distinctive pergola kits and dovetail cabin kits. To this day we remain a family owned and operated business dedicated to service. Ed still arrives every day and son Louis has been with the company for the last 20 years after graduating from Clemson in 1994. Other family members work behind the scenes to ensure a good relationship. When you call us, chances are you will speak to one of the owners or our small sales team. We are a brick and mortar operation with an internet presence. We own and operate our milling machines and can make custom mouldings from your designs if one of over 100 profiles is not to your liking. We deliver within a 150 mile radius with our own fleet of trucks, and anything out of our delivery area is shipped on a flatbed or LTL.
