Auto Mechanics! Midas is seeking 3 experienced automotive technicians to join our team in Greenwood, IN. We are preparing for our busiest time of year and we need go-getters to join our service team.

Our shop is open Monday through Saturday (every Sunday off!) with technicians typically working 5 days each week. Our technicians must be well-versed in complex mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles and be excellent problem-solvers. They must also be able to explain technical issues to customers so they can make well-informed decisions. Technicians must provide their own tools; specialty tools are available if needed.

We are seeking a Store Manager for our Midas location in Greenwood. If you have automotive service and repair experience, are a people-person, and want to control your income, we want to talk to you!

A successful Store Manager understands automotive service and repairs and can explain the technical aspects in layman's terms. Understanding the importance of preventive maintenance and necessary repairs then selling those essential services is a must.

Additional Store Manager duties include writing customer estimates, scheduling appointments, ordering parts and supplies, and supervision of the store staff. Good computer skills and excellent phone etiquette are requirements for this position.

Pay is commission-based at $1,100.00 minimum weekly. Commission is based on attaining sales goals, with monthly bonus potential based on gross profit goals. Additional incentives are available monthly, so a motivated Store Manager can control his or her income.

Midas is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our team in Greenwood, IN. Our technicians must be well-versed in complex mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles and be excellent problem-solvers. They must also be able to explain technical issues to customers so they can make well-informed decisions. Technicians must provide their own tools; specialty tools are available if needed.

General duties include:

Inspect vehicle mechanical and electrical components to diagnose issues accurately;
Inspect computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade;
Conduct routine maintenance (fluid replacement, lubrication, etc.);
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts;
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition;
Maintain clean and orderly workspace and common areas.

Skills and proficiencies:

Proven automotive repair experience;
Excellent working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic, vehicle components;
Ability to use various tools and heavy equipment such as vehicle lift;
Ability to observe safety precautions to avoid accidents, chemical spills, etc.;
Excellent physical condition including the ability to lift up to 100 pounds;
High school diploma or certification from a vocational/apprenticeship program;
ASE certification is a plus.
