Let’s try this again… last week got rained out along with the Friday before.

Unfortunately we will not be out with the WIR 1/2 mile car for the red race like we planned. We broke a suspension part testing and didn’t have enough time to get the car up to the speed we are hoping for. Back to the shop to fix it and try to bring out a competitive car in a couple weeks!

This Thursday we will be back with the 1/4 mile late Wisconsin International Raceway. The crew really worked hard to get the car back together after 2 weeks ago. Testing went well and we got the car back to the speed we had.

Friday we will be at Golden Sands speedway for another night of Pro Late model racing. It has been awhile since we raced the pro late at the track but after the racing we had opening night we are excited to get back!

Not the night we wanted. We had fast time and a really good handling car. First feature we got to the bottom and was looking to be a good race, unfortunately another car broke and we got collected in it. Car was pretty tore up in the RF. We has some spares so we got to work to get the car back on the track. Worked are way up to 6th before the car going away.

Can’t thank everyone enough for offering parts and help, Brandon and Braison for all the help trying to get the car back out. My crew worked hard and we were able to get back out. For how bad the car is it worked fairly well for half the race until going away.

We will get it fixed back up and look over the damage next week and hope we can have it fixed properly for the next race.

Race 1 for the PLM at Golden Sands Speedway was one of the most fun nights I have had in the car! Qualified P1 over Braison by .001! Random draw for the starting position in the feature and I drew #1 and Braison drew #2!

Heat race we finished 4th
Feature finished p2 after a hard fought battle for 35 laps with Braison. The car was a little tight in the center of the corner making it hard to get a good run off the corner to clear Braison.

Can’t thank Herby and Braison enough for the solid car we had! Looking forward to more races like this!

Friday May 15th is our first race!! After almost a 3 month healing process after having a fractured wrist in 2 spots, scapula fracture, and collarbone fracture we are finally cleared to start racing! Unfortunately we were pretty far behind on preparation for the 2026 season but after lots of late night in the shop getting all 3 cars ready, and help from many crew members, family, other racers we are ready for the 2026 season.

Friday Tim Baumann Racing #6 will be driving the Danger Motorsports 1/4 Mike late at wisconsin International Raceway for the spring classic!

As for me I’ll be at Golden Sands Speedway for the opening night of the Pro Late Models.

One car tested! Car felt pretty good by the end of the day, as a Pro late we had some decent times on some old tires. Pulled lead and swapped shocks and wheels and the car was also pretty good as a super late with very little changes.

Overall I think we are in a very good spot to start the season, next up the 1/4 mile late model!
