A better walkthrough starts with your real travel needs.
Knowing who’s coming along, what you’ll pack, and how you’ll spend your time helps you compare floor plans with your actual trips in mind. Bring these five details to your next visit:
1) Passenger count. Include everyone who usually travels with you, plus occasional guests. Ask about seating and sleeping arrangements, and picture everyone sharing the space during meals and downtime.
2) Typical trip length. Tell us whether you take weekend trips or spend several weeks away. Think about how much cooking you’ll do, what you’ll pack, and where you’ll relax on days spent indoors.
3) Storage needs. List your luggage, tools, camp chairs, and outdoor gear. Open the cabinets and compartments to check whether your belongings would fit and be easy to reach.
4) Towing limits, if applicable. Bring the verified limits for your specific vehicle so you can ask how they apply to the setup you’re considering.
5) Everyday priorities. Stand at the kitchen counter, step into the shower, and check the space around the bed. If you work while traveling, picture where you’ll sit and keep your equipment.
