Nobody asked us to combine the smallest upper pulley available, 76% ethanol, and a stock low side fuel system.

So naturally, we did.

Wisher Performance was out at Muncie Dragway last night for the Street Car Racewars event with our CT5-V Blackwing, and Diego brought out his Wisher Performance tuned Escalade-V.

And yes, Diego’s Escalade-V is still the fastest in the world right now, running 10.93 @ 129 in the 1/4 mile. 😉

We made a few changes to the Blackwing to help answer some future questions about AuxJection capability:

• 2.175 upper pulley
• NW103 throttle body
• JLT 5” intake

With those changes, the Blackwing went 10.98 @ 132 in the 1/4 mile, still on stock tires. 🫨

In our previous Blackwing post, we showed 60-130 improving from 8.99 seconds stock to 7.93 seconds with only AuxJection and an ECM tune.

Now with the changes above, we’ve dropped that down almost another full second to 6.95 seconds, still on the stock TCM tune.

This is currently being done with the stock low side fuel system on 76% ethanol content.

Low side pressure did drop to almost 45 psi down track, but AuxJection pressure compensation combined with the factory Global B wideband control, which is 100% integrated with AuxJection, kept the delivered EQ ratio in check.

We may have to put a better tire on this exact combo just to see what it’s truly capable of.

We’ve been keeping a secret 👀

We’ve started some testing on Wisher Performance’s own CT5-V Blackwing with AuxJection.

Bone stock to bone stock + AuxJection with 64% ethanol showed a solid improvement in 60-130 testing, even with the stock transmission tune still in place.

This is not the full technical breakdown yet. We’re still collecting more data, and the next round of testing should give us a better look at where the factory fuel system starts to become the limiting factor.

For now, the early results are promising, and we’re excited to continue development on the Global B platform and explore the same advantages we’ve seen with our current E92 systems.

AuxJection flanges are machined and have officially been sent out for anodizing. We’re on track to have them back by the end of next week to kick off shipping.

That 861 WHP pull from Twin Cities Performance is still living rent free in our minds.

One of the most common questions we get is: "Do I really need a cam swap to make big power?"

The answer is officially no, you don’t need a cam to make big power.

At about 85% of AuxJection’s capacity, this 2017 ZL1 proved something simple:
the factory fueling bottleneck is real… and it’s fixable.
You can keep stock drivability and still hunt for 850+ power numbers on E85.

We know there are more of you out there pushing the limits of the stock cam.
