It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share the permanent closure of Motorcycle Tires and Accessories.

For 37 years, this shop was my dad’s life. He poured his heart, his time, and his soul into serving the motorcycle community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to my dad’s loyal customers and friends who trusted him year after year. Your support meant everything to him, and it means more than I can put into words to our family. Id also like to thank my dad's loyal mechanic Jamie and all of his staff through the years for their support of MTA.

Having to close the doors on the legacy my dad built is painful beyond measure. This shop holds decades of memories, friendships, and hard work.

At a near future date (to be announced), I will be welcoming the motorcycle community to come by the shop to look through remaining items. There will be remaining inventory, tools, and minor equipment available at a low cost. Please understand there will be no tire machines, no lifts, and minimal shop equipment for sale. First come first serve, sold as is. Any money earned will go directly toward ongoing shop expenses following my dad’s passing.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for the loyalty, the memories, and the love you showed my dad over the last 37 years. The motorcycle community meant the world to him, and it will always be a part of us.

It is with a broken heart that we share the passing of our owner, Steve Simmons, on July 22, 2025.

During this difficult time, MTA will be closed until further notice as our family grieves and begins to navigate the road ahead.

The Simmons family would like to express our deepest gratitude to every single MTA customer. Your loyalty and support over the past 35+ years meant the world to Steve, and this business was truly his passion.

At this time, we do not know what the future holds for MTA. It may be months before we are able to make a final decision, but when that time comes, we will share it with you.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Steve’s journey and for supporting his dream for so many years.
