Sorry if this is a little winded
It’s hard to put into words what an entire racing season means until suddenly, it’s over.
For months, our weekends were filled with the sound of engines, dirt in the air, packed pits, familiar faces in the stands, kids running around, victories celebrated and memories being made. And now, the track is quiet.
To our staff and volunteers, thank you. You gave your time, worked long days and late nights, and did the jobs most people never see. This season simply wouldn’t have happened without you. The kids in the concessions, the shirt shack, and taking your tickets at the front gate. You did amazing! Thank you! To the beer garden lady’s! Thanks for slinging that beer! To the ticket booth staff front and back gates, you guys did phenomenal with getting the people thru in a timely matter we appreciate you! To our scorers, our announcer, to our tech guys, tow trucks and scale We couldn’t have ran as smoothly as we did with out any of you! You all were rock stars! To the flag man and assistant flag lady! Thank you!! None of us would want your job!
To out amazing EMT and fire and safety crew! Where do I even being! You all are amazing! You’re quick and thorough! You guy give your self a pat on the back! It’s not easy sitting in 100 degree weather fully dressed in uniform. Thank you for all your time this summer!! We appreciate you!
To our fans — whether you were with us every weekend or made it when you could, THANK YOU. Every ticket bought, every cheer from the stands, You are the heartbeat of this little dirt track.
To our drivers and crews — thank you for choosing Greenbush Race Park. Thank you for the late nights in the shop, the miles traveled, the battles on the track and the incredible show you gave us week after week. We know what it takes just to make it to that starting line, and we appreciate every single one of you.
And to our sponsors — your support keeps local dirt-track racing alive. Every contribution, big or small, helped make another Saturday night of memories possible. We are incredibly grateful.
There were checkered flags and heartbreaks. There were laughs, frustrations, celebrations, rainouts, close finishes and moments we’ll talk about for years.
And then there were those little moments that reminded us exactly why we do this — like watching the kids run up to greet every winner as they pulled into Victory Lane. Seeing their excitement, the smiles on their faces and the way they looked up to those drivers was something pretty special. Those kids are the future of this sport, and memories like those are what dirt-track racing is all about.
But most importantly, there were memories.
Because under Ronnie and Lynnette Greenbush Race Park will never just been about race cars going around a dirt track.
It’s about the people. It’s about families. It’s about friendships. It’s about kids growing up at the racetrack. And it’s about coming together every weekend because we all love this crazy sport.
The engines may be quiet for now, but we still have plenty to share.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for an unforgettable 2026 season.
One last checkered flag for 2026.
Until the engines fire again in 2027 here at your little dirt track on the outskirts of town!
