You know what really grinds my gears? Money shifting.
And also Ohio weather choosing to rain on all the days we don’t need it to rain.

This Wednesday’s event at Dragway 42 is being canceled due to rain moving through overnight Tuesday and possible storms during the day Wednesday.

We’d like to also take a moment here and say to anyone new here, it is NOT the rain itself that is the problem, we have and will run in the rain still, the problem is that several small lakes show up on the course after it rains and take hours and hours to go away.

Join us for our next (and hopefully first) Wednesday Night Fight event at Dragway 42 on June 10th! Everyone start doing some "rain, rain, go away" dances and maybe the weather will be clear and sunny for this event. Registration is open for this, link below!!

Well…
We’ve enjoyed a lot of nice weather in NEOhio…just not when we want to race. I feel like I can just copy/paste these posts…

With the rain moving in tonight, and through tomorrow morning, we are going to cancel the Weds Night Fight…again….

The one main section of track we need has been holding water for days after it rains and the other section has been getting deep when it does rain. I don’t see a good way to do a quality course just after it rains.

So again, no racing tomorrow. And it looks like the rain is going to be sticking around for about a week. So say a few kind words that the rest of the holiday weekend doesn’t get washed out also. Fortunately these Weds evening events are easier to reschedule and it’s only May. So we’ll make these last 2 events up and maybe add in another if possible.

DON'T FORGET!

This Wednesday at Dragway 42 we have our next (first, because Ohio weather hated us last week) Wednesday Night Fight event. For those new to these events, you can expect a casual event that is run similar to our normal points events, except for the finals we change it up a bit. Drivers go head-to-head in a single elimination bracket setup, so make your lap count! If you're a new driver, or wanting to get lots of laps in, make sure to sign up for Wednesday's event!

Can confirm, Ohio weather still hates us. But either way the track was hot all day today! 70+ cars, some new faces, some veterans, some new builds coming out to party, and some ol' reliables still kickin'. Awesome event today!
