Hello Fellow Riders,
Debbie and I recently participated in the “Spring Heat in Arizona”2022 HOG Rally. We had a great time and were greeted and treated by some wonderful Chapters and Dealerships.
150 Rally riders. 1200+ Miles. 4 States. 2 time zones (which we crossed several times).
The Rally Planner had 2-3-4 different route suggestions for our daily rides, depending on your riding preferences. These routes could be downloaded into your bike’s navigation system or opened on the HD ride app on your phone, or followed on a paper map.
D1. We signed in and began our adventure in Lancaster CA (Antelope Valley HD) with shopping, an opening ceremony, drawings, safety information and DINNER.
D2. We rode through Death Valley National Park, made a few stops and took some photos. We ended up at Henderson HD (NV). We had DINNER, provided by the dealership and served by local chapter members, there were drawings and shopping and service by dealership staff for a few folks needing some assistance.
D3. Off to Kanab, AZ by way of Desert National Wildlife Refuge, Zion NP, Zion HD (for LUNCH), and Bryce Canyon NP.
D4. Next we rode off to Grand Canyon HD in Bellemont AZ; we stayed in Flagstaff. We passed through Kiabab NF, Winslow AZ (photo op), and the Grand Canyon NP. GC HD provide DINNER at the rode house adjacent to their store. More drawings, shopping and recap of an exciting day.
D5. Our final day brought us to Superstition HD in Mesa (Phoenix) AZ. Wow we saw deserts and forests and mountains and cool and hot. Closing ceremony, with DINNER, drawings and shopping.
Many of the HD Dealerships were scheduled to be closed on the day or hours of our arrival; the Rally Planner and Dealerships coordinated to accommodate us and made us feel welcome.
Consider one of the many Riding and Local HOG rallies that HOG offers
