Post (1): New Owners
Hello, our dear Friends and Customers,
As the season starts winding down, we’d like to start by sharing our activities and news over the Summer.
Yes, it should have been the other way around… but in our defense, the season kept us really (happily!) busy.
First things first: here writing this post is Angelica. My husband Mike and I are the lucky new owners of this wonderful livery. Just after February this year, him and I started looking for options on buying a business and that’s when we saw that Carlisle was selling. We could not believe our luck and from that moment forward moved towards all the paperwork and analysis and you-know-all-the-stuff-it-takes.
Janice was WONDERFUL all throughout. Janice was truly amazing and worked with us on all the fine details to get the transaction working. Not only that, she was a true friend and supporter to us when we started to learn the operation of the business. THANK YOU JANICE for the strong support.
Equally amazing, we want to thank Mary, our real estate agent (Northern Michigan Water, Riverfront & Properties). Mary was incredible and made the transaction easy and smooth. Great work Mary!
Next up, I will post about our wonderful team and our first weeks at the front desk (and behind it).
