Just sent this beautiful 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback Mach 1 home today! Been chipping away at this one for the better part of a year! Customer originally came in just looking for a killer custom paint job on his car, and had some suspicions about some shotty work done in the past, and boy was he right! Uncovered gallons of bondo under 3 seperate paint jobs, all hiding alot of questionable patch work and alot of hidden rust! We replaced both qtr panels on the car, a rear frame rail, most of the trunk floor, rear support and tail panel, along with some patching of the rockers, doors, and inner fenders. Pulled alot of dents and stripped the car to a bare metal finish to build it up the right way. After all the metal work was complete, the car got epoxy primed, painstakingly long blocked until it was straight as an arrow, then sealed the body work with epoxy once again. 2k primer followed the epoxy, one final long blocking, and a killer paint job with a custom tri coat "Merlot Jewel Pearl" sealed the deal. These Fastbacks are truly hard to come by these days and it was a pleasure to bring this thing back to it's former glory, and then some!
