Arch's Automotive Service and Smog was started in 1941 by Arch and Carol Brooks. "We didn't have a choice, there weren't too many specialized shops back then so we had to make due with what we had, and we did a good job." -Arch Brooks 1986. Arch passed down the business to his son Wally Brooks in 1976 until he retired in 2004. Arch's Automotive Service and Smog is now owned and operated by Kevin M

altese who has been with Arch's Automotive for 31 years and Arch's grandson Brendan Brooks, who, after 4 years in the Navy came back to the business. "I grew up here, I love it up here, and I'm honored to keep this business thriving that my grandparents started over 70 years ago." -Brendan Brooks 2004. Arch's Automotive works on most domestic and import vehicles. Our technicians are ASE certified, and are continually being trained and educated in the latest developments concerning the auto repair industry. We want to earn your business and trust.

After seven years and over 10,000 smogs our friend, Hayden Flemming, a.k.a. “Smog Father”  is starting a new chapter in his life. Hayden’s last day was yesterday 10-27-23. We wish him and his family nothing but the best moving forward. He was an exceptional employee, and he will be missed as part of the Arch’s family. His only fault was that he is a New York Giants fan but nobody’s perfect. Hayden comes from amazing parents and it reflects with his values of his own family. He is one in a million.
