Job Description:
The employee is an entry level person, no experience is required, and is accountable for labor work including: - assembly line packaging on our liquid and powder automated filling lines including bottle feeding, capping, cleaning, labeling, and taping. packaging materials for shipment; visual inspection of goods and final products; cleaning and organizing workspace and warehouse. This position also includes: teamwork, troubleshooting, assemble, following a set of guidelines, attention to detail. In order to perform these responsibilities, the associate, to the extent required, utilizes a set of core responsibilities and exhibits core behaviors required to achieve the business goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assembly Line Work – Liquid and Powder Automated Lines
• Positions, loads, and unloads Materials/Products on Automated Lines
• Understands Project outlines and Final Inspections for Goods
• Visually inspects each final product and prepares boxes prior to packing
• Listen and follow directions per specifications and supervisor directions
• Piles, labels or packs finished goods as directed
• Notifies appropriate personnel of any equipment or quality problems
• Assists in adjustment of equipment and in moving materials
• Assists in arranging the work area during job changes
• Disposes of off-quality material or other waste material
• Packs, tapes, and loads boxes on pallets for shipments
• Performs cleanup duties as required
• Assists supervisor in training
• Participates in the safety and good housekeeping programs as established within the warehouse
• Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by the supervisor
• Complies with all plant rules, safety regulations and maintains a clean and orderly work area
• Complies with attendance policies
• Load and sort material, as required, utilizing the Warehouse Management System
• Assists with physical inventories as assigned
• Attention to Safety. Ability to follow safety procedures. Knowledge on Safety and Handling of Hazardous Materials.
This Position Requires:
- Regular attendance on site
- Regular wearing of safety gear; masks, googles, and gloves. During Automated Filling, suites are required. All safety gear is required.
- Exposure to noise – continuously
- Lifting/Carrying/Moving up to 50 pounds
- Standing – continuously
- Handling (holding, grasping) – frequently
- Wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) (warehouse)
- Hand/Eye coordination – continuously
