T's OCD Closed Welcome to my new page. Problems are diagnosed fast and honestly.

I have been collecting tooling, supplies, and creating a facility to do what I like to do best~If you are in need of vehicle (car/truck, boat, RV, cycle) repairs, preventative maintenance, detailing, or can't figure out what the problem is~ I am your affordable choice with shop rates less than half the industry standard. Possible repair work is broken down into essential, desirable, possible, and

unnecessary and decisions are left up to you. I have been the friendly neighborhood car repair guy for anything from oil changes to engine changes. I operate my garage with the integrity of being a fair and honest mechanic who knows what I am doing and genuinely wants to repair the problem. I want you to be able to say you completely trust your auto mechanic ~ and be confident enough to refer your friends!

The Toyota 3.5L. When I read the publications about this engine burning oil in late model Toyota's, I thought; surely not mine since I have used full synthetic Valvoline since post break in. The same oil I've used for over 20 years. Sure enough, I noticed a puff of blue smoke when my wife started the car one day and verified the level was down a pint after 1500mi. Tisk tisk Toyota. Buyer beware.

Your vehicles brakes. As a help to those seeking which brand of brake pads to buy, I highly recommend NOT using Centric brand ceramic brakes. Their false marketing does NOT meet the performance requirements for ceramic brakes. I have been using this brand on my personal 2008 Toyota Camry and have found that as the pad wears, the composition must change as the amount of brake dust increases.

For dustless performance of a ceramic brake, I recommend trying NAPA Adaptive One. Unlike Raybestos and Bendix, these brakes are not made in China, rather Canada... a little closer.
