Well… we tried to have a sale. 😂

This ad popped up on Facebook and got us thinking: “Hey, we should run a brake special too! Maybe $299 if you mention this ad.”

Then we realized we had a problem…

Our regular price is already only $250.

That’s front brake pads AND rotors, installed, for $250 on most cars and light trucks — and you don’t have to mention an ad, bring a coupon, or catch us during a “this month only” sale.

And we’re not cutting the price by cutting corners. As your local Duralast Preferred Installer, we use Duralast Gold rotors, pads, and hardware whenever available — not generic bargain components.

In fact, we did three of these brake jobs today.

Those of you who have been our customers already know how we operate. We try our best to take care of people, keep our prices fair, and save you money whenever we can.

So unfortunately, our $299 brake sale has been cancelled.

You can still get it for $250. 😁

We were sorry to hear that Rainey’s Automotive has closed as the owner begins a well-earned retirement.

Rainey’s Automotive had a solid reputation in our community. We never heard a bad word about the shop, and over the years, several of our own customers went out of their way to brag about the service they received there. In the automotive business, that kind of reputation is earned one customer and one honest repair at a time.

We wish the owner a long, happy retirement—preferably one with no check-engine lights, rusty bolts, or customers dropping off a car at 4:45 on Friday afternoon!

Thank you for serving our community so well. We’ll do our best to help keep the wrenches turning and take our turn standing watch.
